Should student work a part time job or not?

When you were in your college student do work a part time job? Is it advisable as a student to earn extra income? what are the advantages and disadvantages of these?

Doing part time when some is in college depend on one factor, if someone lack financial assistance the person must do part time job to finance him or her self. Doing part time job have advantage and also it has disadvantage, the advantage are
1 It encourage person to face his or her study because the person is the one that work for it
2 it help someone to know how to spend, etc.While the disadvantage is that, it take ones time doing part time job and also prevent some one from reading his or her book, etc

thanks for the opinion "victory12". I am convinced to your idea, yes of course there is advantages and disadvantages if a student work a part time job. Example, it will help to motivate student on how to spend his/her time and money wisely. It also makes student realizes how hard money to be earned. The disadvantages of these is that, if a student can not manage his/her time their studies will suffer and these may lead them to bad marks or else they will be dismissed from the university. Another thing is that student will be come dependent to their parents.

Study must be the best factor that consume student time and when another crisp in that may lead to total failure.

Yes I think students should work while going to school. I had always worked until I went to college. I have after school jobs and summer jobs throughout my high school career. When I went to college my parents did not want me to get a job and I felt very unproductive. I felt by not working I was doing nothing and had a hard time in school.
