One night, one odd crazy spooky night...

Last night (rather early this morning) I finally crawled in bed, exhausted from a day of cleaning and attempting to study for tests I have today. I had just snuggled deep under the covers, letting the warmth and softness of the bed seep into my tired body, encouraging it to slip into divine and welcomed sleep. I felt the bed jiggle, that would be Willy, checking to see if I had gotten into my "fall asleep" position. Then I felt a second jiggle- that's Ding Ding, and a third wiggle, which had to be Khuay. I felt the bump bump as Willy walked along the foot of the bed towards the right side, I felt him make the corner and stop beside my foot. I then felt Ding Ding flop beside my foot and Khuay start the same path that Willy was forging. Suddenly my toe twitched. I couldn't help it! My feet always twitch when I get too tired. I felt Willy jump, startled by the movement, which is unusual for Willy. Then came the chain reaction. Ding Ding JUMPED straight up and raced off the bed, which caused Khuay to jump sideways and he landed on Abby as she was strolling by to climb in her bed. Abby, startled, jumped and turned to leave the room. She wasn't leaving alone, as Khuay, when he jumped sideways, landed on Abby's back. Abby raced from the fracas and headed for the kitchen-with Khuay on her back. Khuay rode Abby about half way to the kitchen and left the "Ride Em Cowboy" action and calmly strolled into the bathroom and got himself a drink, with the cat-a-tude of "I planned to do that". Sleep left for awhile while I laughed my self silly at the antics of the four of the "normal" animals in my home.

I put the kitten, before she went to her new home, on Zoe's back one night, and NEITHER of them were impressed...
I've never actually seen a cat ride a dog, I'm waiting for the day to come - but I can imagine it (I'm really not talking that homeless guy who's trained a cat to ride a dog while a rat rides the cat)

It hasn't happened often around my place, but Khuay is so laid back that when something happens he seems to go "Okay, whatever". (Except when you scare the crap outta him) I think that is what went through his mind...okay, I'll ride the dog to the next stop and jump off. It was really funny to watch the chain reaction and then Khuay riding the dog "into the sunset". All he needed was a cowboy hat.
