Are radar detectors legal where you live? Do you use one?

Radar detectors are legal in my state, and I drive around with mine on all the time, but in neighboring Vermont they are not legal and I have to take it down, hopeing that I dont get stopped an searched. How about your state or country, do you run the risk?
