Dear mylotters,
I responded with this to a post yesterday but I thought I wanted to share it with more people.
I didn´t celebrate Halloween. But my house was taken by little weird beings. First my daughter came by with a 5 year old tiger that called me granma and went for trick or treat at my neighborhood because he said that it was better than his. I wondered later if he would be a business man when he grew up.
While the tiger was ringing bells at the neighborhood, a lot of witches, demons, angels, you name it, came by with some grown ups with cameras in their hands.
At one time Lola, my dog, decided that she also wanted to go with the goblins and the bunch of them had to freeze so that I could persuade her to come back home. Fortunatly, the aliens were not afraid of dogs in spite of Lola being a big German Sheppherd.
We had coffee with my daughter between the ringing of my bell and my scoldings to Lola.
The tiger came back very happy with his plastic pumpkin full of tummyachers. My daughter took part of the treasures away while he was playing and left it hidden at my home.
I would not say it was a party but I got as tired as if I had danced all night.I can´t say I didn´t like it though.
How about you? How was your halloween?

We had a pretty good Halloween. My little dinosaur and my gypsy joined their cousins Blue and the pug to ring doorbells throughout our neighborhood. First off we headed up the street to a friends house where the kids collected their first bit of treats. Then as we were heading back down the street, the dog Eeyore had decided that he wanted to trick or treat too. I imagine I was quite a site to see running down the street to catch the little weiner dog before a car could come and hit him. They rang doorbells on five streets and wondered through a church parking lot that had a Trunk or Treat set up. I imagine they had about 20 pounds of candy between them. They really did have a blast.

The problem comes later, when they want to eat the candy all at once. Fortunatly they are picky and don´t like all types of candy. Those usually end in my hands. They are very generous with things they don´t like.Take care!

Sounds like a fun time was had by all. I had a gijoe ninja that was my favorite trick or treater,.I love seeing all the little ones come. my dog drives me nuts at halloween. She barks at everyone that comes. I like to see the kids having a big time. Glad that little tiger made out so well.

I was not able to attend the halloween party at the real estate co. am connected to as still part of my recuperating stage. I however cooked food at home and on Nov. 1st, with my children went to visit tomb of my hubby, with flowers and lighted candles. In a little later we transferred to another memorial park to visit my mom and dad and a sister. There we had a happy reunion with my brothers families and also some cousins. Each one had brought candles, flowers and food to eat. My grand daughter keeps on singing and dancing, to everybody's delight. That's why seemed to be a halloween party as well. You had a wonderful halloween party, marguicha, one that we don't have at home.
