how high do women perfer their heels?

I don't mind wearing high heals just as long as it can support my weight. Almost 8 years ago, during the baptismal of my youngest, I bought this slimmed heel shoes. Looks good on my feet and makes my legs look slim but halfway through the ceremony it broke. I have to walk while pretending that my shoes are in tact. I bet those who were walking behind me were giggling. Well, what can you do? I simply project as if nothing had happened. Believe me, foot ached terribly that night. Since then, although slimmed high heels look great on me, I now choose thick high heels. Better safe than sorry. Still look stylish on me, though.

in my country,I am considered taller than most women.I am 5'5".some people consider me tall already.I prefer comfortable heels.I love heels that stand at 2",the most.for 4" heels,I prefer them in platforms.they are more comfortable when in platforms.

I wear high heels occassionally for some function or when I am wearing a formal dress.... otherwise its flat shoes for work...

I like to wear high heels on important occasions, such as gatherings, weddings, important meetings or in going out for dates. But I prefer to wear a flat shoes everyday because it doesn't "kill" my feet. Haha.. I like 2 to 3 inches high heels, I can't wear higher than that.

I think it depends on height, yea you're right. I am small & I want to be taller through using heels. But it also depends on the kind of heels. I am not used to 2-inch heels. I am uncomfortable. I like the wedged ones.
