I was working on day a total stranger gave me a rose and told me how pretty I was. It made me feel all good inside and made me feel loved as well. Life is full of suprises. Surprises like this can really brighten up a person day. I know what this person did for me was great. The best thing was they ment no harm but ment to make my day a great one. It feels so great to be noticed and appricated by someone who does not even know. It shows there are some real good in people.

I have gotten many things over the years from strangers just yesterday I got a free cup of ice cream, because it was not a full cup, they ran out. I have gotten roses from strangers, and cookies, and my kids have gotten lots of free stuff at garage sales from nice people who thought they were cute and didn't want to pack the toys back up. I have also gotten books from many people. I sell used books as a business and sometimes people will just give me a box of books out of the blue that they are no longer using, that is always nice.

Hi tuckersheri. I have received a few things from total stranger that made my day, but nothing as dramatic as your rose. When I use to take the bus for transit, some people who get off the bus don't have any use of their unexpired tickets. I used to get those. It made my day, as I save a few $$. Now, that I drive, I have also received parking stubs from people who drive off before their parking tickets expired. I don't ask for it, but hey! If they want to give it to me, I don't mind saving a few dollars.

I don't think anything like this has ever happened to me before. No one has ever gave me anything really. I usually get everything on my own or from my family most of the time.

hi tucekersheri oh yes I still remember this and its been some fifty years back. I had my one year and a half old son with me, and was totally pregnant almost due.I was buying what baby food I could with what little money I had, I put my son down for just a moment to try to figure out how much baby food I could afford. He came running back with a twenty dollar bill in his chubby little hand. I asked him where on earth did he get it? he pointed to a handsome older man who was just walking out the door. the man nodded to me and left. wow, I was flabbergasted and my husband come in,he had just parked our car in the parking structure. he asked a clerk if she knew that man.I described him and she said, oh yes that Mr.Delbert. He owns the store you know. I thanked her and we wheeled a big cartful of baby food up to our car. what a lovely thing to do.back then twenty dollars bought a lot of baby food.

I don't know if you consider this but in my University, frat boys often give roses to random people and because they are strangers, I guess they are considered. Also, some student movements in our University give flyers to people so I guess that good in a way?

It was my boss, he's a very cold person, only thinks about his career and never minds stepping on anyone. One time he was in Canada for work, he came back late in the evening and the morning after I found a small cute snowball with two polar bears on my desk. That really left me wordless, it's a small gift, but it's just the thought that matters, I mean, in some way, he was in Canada and thought about hsii secretary, HE!!! WOW!

I work in a large office, and our directors who came back from out of town for business usually comes back bringing fruits, chocolates, biscuit or whatever small trinkets they find to distribute to all managers. I always bring some in my car to give to total strangers on the street or policeman, hoping that it will cheer them up. At least they have a nice small story to tell their children when they come home. That cheers me up !

The nicest thing a stranger ever did for me was just wonderful. My radiator had a hole in it and had leaked out the fluid. The stranger not only left me a note that told me (as a sixteen year old girl I had no idea what the stuff under the car was) that it was leaking but left me a full gallon of radiator fluid. They didn't leave a name or number they did it simply to help.People like this are angels in disguise!

Yes, Back in the day.. (in the late 80's) I went out to eat with a bunch of my friends. Me and my boyfriend had just started going out -you know when everything is all new and good and magical in your relationship. Well I think we must have been giving off some kind of aura or something and this old woman. Honestly I think she was some kind of a good witch or something. Or who know maybe she was not even there and she was some kind of spirit.. It was all very surreal. Anyway we were sitting at a booth and she just came up to us and gave me a purple rosary. (now Purple is my favorite color to begin with.) She said some words to us- none of which I can remember.. I think it was some kind of blessing.. anyway, that was the strangest thing a stranger ever gave me or did.

I have had a few strangers give me stuff. I was at a bar one time with a friend, and this random lady walked up to him and handed him this black liquior t-shirt to give to me. Talk about random. Not as sweet as a rose, but cool all the same. We also had a lady give us an extra coupon for detergent on triple coupon day at Kroger. Again, not as cool as a rose but it saved us some money.

Once when I was at a casino a couple gave me their credits on a machine. It was only about $5 but I thought it was nice of them to do that. The machine ran out of money and they could not wait for someone to come and fill it so they told me I could have it after the employee fill the machine. I told them thank you.
