Yesterday one of friends questioned me whether I can recall the cellphone# of my boyfriend, my answer is no. I will save the name once I got the cellphone#, if I would like to contact him, I just dial and did not memorize the cellphone# purposely.
How about you? Will you memorize your partner's cellphone#? How many cellphone# can you recall without hesitation? One of my friends did not save the name on his cellphone as he advised to me that he can remember who is who and no need to save for reference. I just can not believe his brain..

hello sasalove!
well, before, i do memorize my husband's cellphone number...but since he changed his number, i don't remember it already...and i think i need some more time to memorize his new number...
but if i saw the number even without the name i can tell if that's his number same with my mom's number...
i also do before what your friend do...i save number on my phone without putting names...haha but not so many numbers just a number from 1 or 2 people...and sometimes i even use some codes to remember who owns the number...
i think because i always saw their numbers , that's why i remember them easily when i saw them somewhere...

oh i see, that's really a problem when we lost our phones, that also happens to me before, i save the phone numbers on my sim card, then my husband lost the card, and with it, i also lost all my contacts! huh!
that's why some do write their friend's numbers in a notebook, just to have a back up in case of lost...
well, i was able to see those numbers coz, we are using prepaid, so everytime we load our phones, we write our number in a paper & most of the time i was asked to load my parents & my brother as well as my husband's phone...that's why...
good day!

Hi Ckyera,
I seldom call others but receive the call from others most of the time. Once I saved it, I seldom see the cellphone#. The cellphone can only display their name while the call is connected, but not the number.
It is really a bad thing if I can not memorize one or two telephone no. Once I lost my cellphone, the name list is gone and I will lose a lot of friends there.
Have a nice day.

I dont know friend.. but I feel those are most important number.. Though I have them in address book of my cell I tend to dail them manually each time I call them so that I think that is what it helps me not to confuse the digits..

Hi dear!
Yes, I have memorized the cell phone number of my better half. I can memories the numbers of my dear friends on need basis. It is difficult to remember all ten digit mobile and land phone numbers. We can always see the number from the mobile through contact list. However, it is better to make a back up of contact list, in case of emergency.

Yup, I memorize all the important cellphone #s that I need. I think I can recall about 4 of them, including my girlfriend. Now why do I need to memorize it? First if I don't have enough balance to text my family or my girlfriend I would be asking my friends if I could borrow their phones and I don't need to look at my phone just to type the number, another is in case of emergencies my battery got emptied I could easily recall a number that I could send a message. Here in the Philippines almost everyone who have a cellphone can recall about 2 or more contact numbers.

We tend to memorize things because of the frequency that we do it. In the past, it is seldom that I send a text message to my late husband. I preferred to call him for speed and clarity. My frequent calls to him made me memorize his number. Now, with my children, I could not remember their respective numbers because it is mostly thru texting that we get to communicate. In instances that I need to call, I just browse on the phonebook and call them directly from the list. I only memorize my own mobile number.

I'm very bad with numbers so I can never, ever memorize my partner's cell phone number. I do keep an address book so that in case I lose my cellphone, I still have my friends' numbers handy.

I have memorized my wife's mobile phone number. I think its because it is her that I often call and send messages to, so even if I did not make any effort to memorize, I have no difficulty recalling them.

Hi Acie,
You are a scatterbrain like me. I am attempting to memorize some of those cellphone# that I always dial as I am concerned that I can not reach any guy if I am in trouble, at the time that my cellphone is being stolen or the battery can not support the cellphone any more.
Have a nice day.

Hello, Sasalove,
Yeah, I do remember my husband's cell phone No. As we call each other quite often, I feel like dial the Numbers myself rather than find it out from my contact list. His No. actually are deep inpress in my mind, that I sometimes miss-call him when I want to call others.
Except husband's phone No. I only remember my parent's...
Have a great day and happy mylotting.

Hi Karen,
It is quite interest that you will mis-call hime while you want to call others. Your husband should be proud of it and happy if he knew about that.
I have my cellphone number planted in my mind. Sometimes While I call other with the landline then I could call my cellphone if my mind is not clear enough. At that time I am annoying and confused that who is calling me while I dialed out.

I can memorize the cellphone number of my girlfriend.
It is a so simple thing that all people can memorize the cellphone number easily. Perhaps I can't recall the numbers of one of my friends, but the phone numbers of are all in my heart for they are parts of my life. You see, if I have forgotten my girlfriend's cellphone number, she may think that I pay no attention to her.
Have a nice day! Happy myLotting!

Hi sasalove,
I can remember my hubby’s mobile number and some other numbers which I am using it on daily basis. Actually I am using a land phone to make calls and if you dial the number on everyday basis it is very easy to memorize the same. I think now the mobile phone is replacing the memory power of us. Human brain can memorize many things if use the same properly. It is good to remember and try to remember some numbers it will help to boost your memory. I agree the use of mobile phone is removing the facility of dialing because one the number is saved we can call it automatically.

Yeah! I memorize some cell phone numbers like the numbers of my husband and my children. I think it is important. For some instances like in case you run out of battery, or left your cp at home, you can contact them. And for worst situation, God forbid!, like emergency cases, when your cp happens to be battery empty, you can always contact them thru police officers or public phones.
So my advise is memorize 2 or 3 cell phone numbers for emergency cases. It's not really that hard to memorize. Just dial the numbers instead of rolling your contact menu. Later, you will get used to it.

i didnt intent o memorize my boyfriend's cellphone number, in time, when somebody ask me for his number i had it in my mind and would tell them without blinking my eyes, i guess in time even if you dont intend to, you'll memorize without knowing it.

I know my husband's cell phone number because I call him all the time on it. I know my mother's cell phone, my step-father's, and my sisters. Most of the other people use their home phones and I memorize their home phone number. Most of the time I can dial the numbers from memory and other times I just use the speed dial on my cell phone.

the only cell# ican remember is my own.'cause i have to tell other people.i never even think about memorizing other people's phone#.since i can store them all in my cell, why bother?it's kind of risky though,if on day i lost all my stuff in a strange place,i can't even call my dad.
