I need an English partner to practice my oral English in spare time.

I am a Chinese, and I'd like to improve my oral English. So I am thinking of finding partners or friends here to talk in English as much as possible in our spare time. Anybody likes to be ? or someone can tell me where i can find him/her

I think if you want to improve your English there's English online tutorial. I don't know how much but if you like someone that going to improve your English why not find a foreigner friend that speak English fluently.

Hey friend I think the best way to find a partner is to go for voice chat. Yahoo messenger provide the option of free voice chat. You can go to any room and find anyone who can speak good english. It's is free also. And you can get many people there who speak good english. And another way is to go to skype chat. In skype you can select country and language of the people whom you want to chat. Make friends there and talk to them in english. These resources are free. For any help do remember me. Keep talking in English. Best of luck!

Hi friend Thank you so much for your good suggestions and prompt reponse. voice chat is a very good option at home. But in the office, I think it will bother others who are concentrating on their work. So, I'd like to look for someone I can talk to online via MSN or other simliar softwares when I'm not that busy in the office. Maybe you can be my friend. I think you're very supportive, and I really need someone who is willing to offer help to others like you.

I would love to be your friend and talk to you. But I hardly get that much time because of my busy schedule. So I can't be available to talk to you. But I would advice you that real improvement in speaking skills comes when you start speaking that language. So if you will not do voice chat there will not be any improvement in your speaking skills. And it is very important to speak and pronounce words properly. If you can't do voice chat in office. Do it in home or in cyber cafe. Or else find out some other way.

i am willing to be your friend unfortunately i'm really not so much active in mylot so i would suggest that you read English novels and bring with you an English-Chinese dictionary or whatever you call it... :D

Yes, I am looking for someone to talk to online through MSN or other messenger softwares. when I am not that busy at work, I'd like to chew the fat with someone in English. On the other hand, I can improve my English as well. I think talking over the phone will impact the others especially in the office. Meeting someone personally is not convenience coz I'm now in China, far away from you guys.

The time zone factor is also important. You are two and a half hours before India which means the only time that would be convenient for you and anyone from India would be around nine in the morning for you which will be half past seven in the morning for India. And in the evenings it would be ten in the night for you and half past eight for India. What are the timings that suit you. There are several options available provided timings suit you and your partner.
