We get a fourteen day annual leave and 7 days of casual leave, which totals upto 21 days for a year. This is apart from the National Holidays. Each country has its rule on employment. I am sure there should be one for you'll as well. Why dont you check it out before you go and talk to your employer. Actually, your employer could be fined for not giving the facility to his employees. Oh btw, there is a category of employees too. If you are a casual or a temporary employee you might not get the full benefit. Nevertheless, study on the legal requirement, then you would be able to present your case better.

I get 23 days annual leave which I can take when I like. I also get Bank holidays (national holidays) on top of this. I am surprised you don't get any annual leave, I think here its law to have holiday entitlement. Every company I have ever worked for has always given annual leave.

there is a 9 days consecutive annualleave which is mandatory for employees. If you dont use it ,it gets lapsed and your leave account is debited automatically at the year end.since it is 9 consecutive working days, two sundays and a saturday is added to it.so its totally 12days consecutive...good company no?...i love my company....
