How many emails do you get daily regarding myLot?

Hi, Dloveli. Wow! 510 responses? You're popular! Lol!I haven't been here long enough to block someone or feel the need to shut off responses yet, but I think I'd be the same - only if things were perhaps getting personal or abusive, etc. If I have a lot of responses to the same discussion, I find I just have to open one email to get to the discussion to answer them all, then I can delete the rest from my inbox, so that it doesn't look so overwhelming. Sounds like you'll make your payout this month though!:)

I get about 30 or so, mostly so and so responded to your comment, and the mylot digest, or so and so sent you a private message.

I usually get between 75 and 100 emails from myLot. I keep my list of friends small but have all the notifiers for them on. I am pretty choosy in whom I accept as a friend.

I think the number of responses that I get depends on how many discussions I started. I think that is the only time when I get an email. Maybe there might be some other reasons for getting emails too, but I am not being able to recall that right now. Another time when we all get emails is the Mylot digest. I think all of us might be getting that. I have all the notifications on, so I get all the emails. I have not shut off any and I plan to keep them going for a while henceforth.

I get tons from MyLot I was inactive for about 5 months I think,and I just became active yesterday.Just since yesterday I got like 45 emails,but I am going to be more active,so I will have a ton more to come.

I get approximately 100 if they are working right. Last week I was only getting about 25. It just makes it easier to get friends discussions.

I have a couple hundred friends on Mylot, so I probably get about 1,000 e-mails a day regarding myLot. I have a special Mylot folder that they all go into, so they don't drown out other e-mail, but so that i can also see how many I get. It is nice, because with all my notifications turned on, I know exactly when one of my friends have published something.

um..i think 100-150.it seems like i don't always get all my mails at once. could be my mailbox capacity.i don't shut off anybody unless they post spam after spam "join xyz site under me".

Gee I feel sorry for myself if I get more than thirty. There is no way I can answer all those and still post a discussion or two.

It all depends on how busy I am whilst logged into My Lot. If I contribute a lot and create discussions then I tend to receive a lot of emails. I just delete them all and then I start responding to every single response on My Lot. I don't shut off any reminders personally. I haven't been unfortunate enough to receive any nuisance responses but if this were the case then I would certainly restrict receiving certain emails from a particular My Lotter! Andrew

I get a lot of notifications from mylot but not 510! I don't think I could handle that many. I let all my responses come through, too. The only time I don't respond to them is if they've started a discussion on a subject I don't know anything about. Also, if I'm tired, I just might wait and respond to it the next day. If it's just something I don't care to discuss, I don't respond to it. I hardly ever get any notifications from anybody who is looking for a fight or from anybody I feel is trying to target me. If I did, I just wouldn't respond to them and maybe delete them as a friend. Kathy.

I really don't know as I have never counted them, but I know I get quite a few, maybe more than I want. At least getting notified, lest me know that my responses are being read and commented on, and that part is good. I rea every one I get and if someone asks me a question, I will respond back to them, as that is only common courtesy to do so, as when a question is asked, I will answer if at all possible. Every day I was just receiveg a few e-mails only,no you are so busy.

I dont have that many but I do go to bed with some emails left in my email I can always to them tomorrow . and really I have all my friends here with notify on I just dont get emails from all of them they either dont have it on or they arent posting

I was getting way too many and one day I just shut them all off. I have more than 30 sites and get a lot of email and a huge amount of junk and spam so I have to keep control over as much as I can and too much email from Mylot just bugs me.

Hi D.loveli, I have most of mine turned on but not all. I'm surprised that I only get a few alerts each day...why I'm surprised I don't know...it's always the same dozen or so people who post discussions.I wish I could come up with ideas for discussions but I'm at a loss. There must be many like me who are unable to think up ideas for discusions.

I only received below 100 mail notification. Some are my friend’s discussion and comments on my response. I am so sad to know that there are people who attack people and it can happen here in Mylot. I just got to think, why don’t we just get along and respect others opinion. We can still give justice to our beliefs without attacking others. We can still voice out our views without hurting others isn’t it? Or just sometimes there are people who can’t accept others beliefs and only hears what they want to hear. If that will happened to me, I will shut off their notification too to avoid them. Mylot is my second home, I want to be happy staying here. First of all mylot is a friendly site and ti don’t want to meet a future enemy here.

My brother, who stays in Canada right now tells me that his whole inbox is invaded by mylot messages. Luckily for me i changed my preferences by not allowing e-mails and notifications from mylot.
