What is the best digital camera on the market right now? Also, if you can give a website where you can purchase the camera would be nice as well. I know that people have their favorites what's yours?

It's a great time to be on the market for a digital camera, you now get a lot of technology for your money. I'd go for a digital SLR. Nikon's entry level D3100 seems quite good, you can read a quick review of it on http://www.what-camera.com, and you can purchase in any good photographic shop.

you may check www.dpreview.com, www.digitalcamerainfo.com, www.betterphoto.com, www.pcmag.com or www.cameras.co.uk... however, it depends on your purpose and interest... it can range from very simple to advanced SLR cameras... from 2/3 megapixel to 25 megapixel (or more)...

Thank you I would like something that does not cost a huge amount of money to get. I love photography although I am not a professional.
