HSA for health insurance

The company I work for changed from traditional insurance to HSA insurance about a year ago. I really don't like the hsa thing at all. It really feels as though I am paying for everything right out of my pocket. I still have a monthly premium that I have to pay plus I need to put money in a savings account to pay for prescriptions and doctor visits. I feel like I am paying for everything. What is the point of having insurance if it is all coming out of my pocket?

It's health savings accounts that is the hallmark of the GOP health plan they recently presented. That does absolutely nothing to address the problems of those who don't have insurance because they can't afford it and their employers don't offer it!
