So when the North pole melts, who should own it? Why do you think that?

Well unless you still think there is no such thing as Global warming, most facing reality know it won't be long until there won't be an icecap on the northern area of our planet anymore! What do you think is going to happen over this? World War 3? There's sure a lot of oil there! Should we have a world lottery over who gets it? This is going to be a global nightmare! What's your take on this? tdemex

A lottery sounds good because I don't think that the US can do another war. I think you're right that it will be a nightmare!

Isn't there some sort of soil under the ice? Let them have the ice and someone else will get the ground

Umm...the planet naturally goes through warming and cooling phases, so no, I don't believe that this whole "global warming" junk is real. I can't understand how people can be so easily fooled by someone like Al Gore and the rest of his ilk, but I refuse to participate in the hysteria. Life's too short to worry about something that for all intents and purposes is a myth...a myth that's being hyped up by scientists who are all in the government's back pockets (so naturally they're going to promote the idea that the climate's changing for the worse). They want us to completely change our lifestyle, but they have no intention of doing the same thing. It's a myth. It's a sham. I am not going to be hoodwinked by Mr.Gore or Mr. Moore or anyone else like them.

I am wondering, why are people more interested on benefiting from this North-pole-melting thing than preventing it from happening? I really do not understand the minds of people these days. if the North pole melts, shouldn't we be worried that it may be catastrophic?

Well, the north pole is just a big piece of ice, so it will just melt and drown up Russia or Canada. But if it is Antarctica, you have the real problem. Because it is far away to be claimed by any country and it is too south and it most important ly has LAND beneath!
