dogs and peculiar habits

^_^ wow.. funny little cute dogs! Sounds new to me that dogs wanted to grind ice through their teeth. Are they really swallowing it or just playing with their mouth? Hmmm... I really misses to have and take care puppies.. They are so very cute and lovely..

My dog loved ice - it was like a treat for her. I can remember when she'd run out the front door, we'd make noise in the freezer so she'd hear the ice and she'd come running back in the house.

I have 2 Bouviers. I had 3, but the mother past with bone cancer. They like ice, sour milk as much as I will give them. The blonde puppy in the pic barks or comes up to me and and talks when she is out of water. When i come home from work the big male likes to bounce on my legs almost pushing me down then runs to the back door and starts singing a doggy song and the puppy joins in. They do many other peculiar thing like howl on command... REMEMBER ALWAYS LUV/ CARE FOR YOUR DOG/ PET, THEY WILL ALWAYS LUV U....

My dogs also eat ice for some reason. They even ask for some ice when they know I'm getting some for my drink, hehe. They sound like yours. They only do this when it's hot though so I think it's for them to cool down. It's that, and they probably like the "crunch". One of my dogs has another habit of asking for snacks at 3pm everyday. It's amazing how she knows what time of the day it is. If you don't give it to her, she will come to you and demand. She'll go over to the cabinet where the snacks are and she'll bark and look at you until she gets what she wants.

that is very interest question,i have pet in 15 years ago,i hope get a pet,but i'm busy in job.so i have no time to care pet,talking that,we must discuss protection of animal,wherever you choice to feed a pet, you must have a patient and loverage,i don't know if you look out a lots pets,it is be a abandon.so like that,thank you!

WoW! Is that cool or what! Well actually my dog used to eat his own dirt and spank him everytime he does it. Good thing he stopped.

All creatures, four or two legged have peculiar habits. We just don't seem to always accept our pets for what and who they are. They are so cute and sweet. My cats come out of no where when I open the lid of the butter. Or,if I am eating pudding or ice cream, they are all over me. No matter how quiet I am, they know.

i have two dogs and a cat. bouth dog's when they here the sound of chocolate shell they come in a hurry to give them chocolate to. They eat icecreem a lot, they love sweet's but i don't give them to much not to macke them to feel seek. My oldest dog lickes verry much raw potatos and vegetables. he eat apple as well.

I have one dog,the special habit is it will give sound like whistling.I like this sound from my dog.

My dogs all have peculiar habits. Each is different. A couple like apples. One prefers soft treats to hear ones. One loves to jump in the kiddie pool I keep outside for them. The others not so much.. lol I used to have a dog that lapped is water in threes, glub glub glub, glub glub glub. Always -same dog when vomiting (usally grass) always vomited in 3's too. I swear! That same dog Ka'vik was a lefty. Always gave me his left foot first, and always walked on the left. My other pooch TK would walk on the right. They did this always, even when running up stairs (when I used to live on fourth floor) he would walk on the left she would be on his right. I always found it fascinating. I have one now that is very jealous or maybe it's protective. She will not let my roommates little chihuahua mix come near me when I am on the couch. if he tries she jumps up (usually ON me) and puts her body between him and my face.. like saying you are NOT allowed to talk to, look at, or kiss MY MOM! I love them. No Two are alike!

I used to have a cat that would growl at people when they walked inmy house if she wasn't very familiar with them. She even attacked a few people. THis same cat loved to eat tacos. If I cooked them, I always had to make her a plate or she would try to climb on the table to eat the kids' food.

we have six dogs, and each one has their own weird "fave" (favorite) foods or drinks. Blue LOVES sour kraut Tuck can hear ice cream being scooped from 300 paces Boomer enjoys ginger (he prefers it WITH sushi, but will eat it plain) they will all try just about anything we eat... I have willing test subjects in my cookhouse horrors! lol

one of my dogs love to lick ice... and ice cream too, if my dog smells something new especially shoes (first time to see and smell), she will chew it and play with it, so when there are visitors i tied my dogs and when they are gone, they are free to roam around....

my dogs love to eat ice too! it's probably due to the tropical weather in my country. one of my dog loves to eat pasta! while the other one loves vegetables. we have a container for their food and they simply know if we're going to feed them "bacon bites!" whenever they hear me opening that container, they come running towards me and give me that "excited face" all the time.
