Is this what you thought about your mum when you were little?
Is it what your children thought of you?
I received this as an email and while I don't usually pass on such things I thought we could all do with a smile.
Here are the answers from children in Grade 2 to "Why God Made Mums"
Why did God make mothers?
1. She's the only one who knows where the sticky tape is.
2. Mostly to clean the house.
How did God make mothers?
1. He used dirt, just like for the rest of us.
2. Magic plus super powers and a lot of stirring.
3. Just like he made me. He just used bigger parts.
What things are mothers made of?
1. Clouds and angel hair and everything nice - and one dab of mean.
2. They had to get their start from men's bones. Then they mostly use string, I think.
Why did God give you Your mother & not some other mum?
1. We're related.
2. God knew she likes me a lot more than other people's mums like me.
What kind of little girl was your mum?
1. My mum has always been my mum and none of that other stuff.
2. I don't know because I wasn't there, but my guess would be pretty bossy.
3. They say she used to be nice.
What did mum need to know about dad before she married him?
1. His last name.
2. His background. Like is he a crook? Does he get drunk on beer?
3. Does he make at least $100 a year? Does he say NO to drugs and YES to jobs?
Why did your mum marry your dad?
1. My dad makes the best spaghetti in the world. And my mum eats a lot.
2. She got too old to do anything else with him.
3. My grandma says that Mum didn't have her thinking cap on.
Who's the boss at your house?
1. Mum doesn't want to be boss, but she has to because dad's such a goof ball.
2. Mum. You can tell by room inspection. She sees the stuff under the bed.
3. I guess Mum is, because she has a lot more to do than dad.
What's the difference between mums & dads?
1. Mums work at work and work at home while dads just go to work at work.
2. Mums know how to talk to teachers without scaring them.
3. Dads are taller & stronger, but mums have all the real power.
4. Mums have magic, they make you feel better without medicine.
What does your mum do in her spare time?
1. Mothers don't do spare time.
2. To hear her tell it, she pays bills all day long.
What would it take to make your mum perfect?
1. On the inside she's already perfect. Outside, some kind of plastic surgery.
2. Diet. You know, her hair. I'd diet, maybe blue.
If you could change one thing about your Mum, what would it be?
1. She has this weird thing about me keeping my room clean. I'd get rid of that.
2. If she was smarter - then she would know it was my sister who did it and not me.
3. If she rid of those invisible eyes on the back of her head.
I like that last one. My kids thought I had a pair of eyes in every room!

Lol well I think there are a few things there that my Children would have thought like that of me, specially the eyes in the back of my Head and the room being cleaned lol
I love this I think it is so cute and I always reading things on how Children think it is just so innocent but it is what they think lol

Quite a few people have complained about not getting notifications.
Maybe if you try turning it off - and then turn it back on again a bit later.

I think most children think mums have eyes in the back of their heads, or in every room.
Don't you just love the way children hide their face and think that because they can't see you, you can't see them? Priceless!

Oh heavens, I don't know. I hope they think I'm sensible and funny and somebody that they can come to. Maybe I should ask them? :-)

my kids always knew i was the stable part of their life. id always be there. but once i told my oldest son when he was nine that i could tell when he was lying by the way his eyes got bigger. later while passing his room, he was looking in the mirror saying "i didnt do that" and i knew he was trying to see if his eyes changed. then when i was little and mom told me she had eyes in back of her head, the next time i brushed her hair i looked all over and couldnt find them

Thanks Bunnybon. Children are such literal thinkers!
I love the way they hide their eyes, thinking that if they can't see you, you can't see them.

I have no children because I haven't gotten married until now but I am son of my mum.
Compared with our friends, our relatives and even father, mum is the most important part in our life. They have given us the life, help us learn to walk when we were very young. When we get into troubles, then they will come to share our stress but then when we are happy, they have been gone away. Sometimes, they are just the detectives because they are familiar with us and know what we are going to do.
Mother love is unselfish love, which is of the highest kind.

You are indeed fortunate to have such a good mum and a good relationship with her.
I believe that being a mother is the greatest privilege that can be experienced in this world. I didn't have a good mother but I hope I have been one to my children.
