Though personally, I am against it, I want to know your views on this. I want to you know how the world sees abortion not just in my own country but in other countries as well. You may not post your personal feelings about it but others as well. Thanks for enlightening me then if you respond. Have a great day ahead of all of you.

I personally would never have an abortion under any circumstance including medical. I can't make that decision for everyone. I know that there are certain circumstances where it may not be the best interest in the person having a child. I know of one child that was raped and got pregnant by her father. IN that case I could see how this child might want to have an abortion. She herself is a child. Another case was my grandmother. She already had young children. The doctor told her to abort her third child because it wouldn't live and would kill her if she had it. She decided to abort because my grandfather was in the war, and she thought it be better to take care of the children she had and not put herself in such a dangerous position. I also see where people have late term abortions. It saddens me to no end. I can't judge anyone, or decide for them. I can pray and try to guide others in need.

In my home country abortion is legal up until 24 weeks pregnancy. It is allowed in later pregnancy if the lady's life is in danger or the baby will be severely disabled. I was offered an abortion at 36 weeks pregnancy but I said no way because I am pro-life. Some of the people are pro-life and others are pro-choice.
In most other countries in Europe the time limit is 12 weeks pregnancy. In Malta abortion is illegal so some ladies pop up to Italy to get one. In Ireland abortion in illegal unless the lady's life is in danger.
I know that abortion is illegal in Chile and some back street abortions do take place there. That sort of thing can happen in a few other countries. Often religious ideas prevent abortion like for Catholics.

i responded to a similar discussion last week, but theirs was totally against it,,anyway,,i think abortion is ok for the right reasons, for instance, after being raped, birth defects, mentally unstable,or if the woman is too young and feels termination is best eg;still in school,,i don't under any circumstances think it should be used as birth control,as some people use it for that,,,if there wasn't such negativity about abortion then there probably wouldn't be as many cases of babies being dumped in bins, murdered or abused by people that never wanted kids,a lot of women are scared to have an abortion because of they way they will be made to feel it's wrong, but it's not wrong in the right circumstances

Abortion is the lowest and the most gruesome form of murder in human history. I fell ashamed of people having done it. They are irresponsible, low class people who never taught that killing one's life is a sin God never permitted us to do. Damn, I'm sure they would rot in hell.
