I don't have a son, I only have one daughter. I am not asking for one either. I am already contented and thankful that I was given a daughter after four years of trying. my daughter is my bundle of joy and my fulfillment. I feel so complete with her.
have a good day.
happy mylotting.

I like both boys and girls. If I have a boy I think my life may be full of challenges because I should teach him a lot and let him konw more of the society.

Admittedly, it is better if we have boys and girls but since that won't be possible for me anymore, then I have to be contented with what I have now, a daughter.

Most couples in my home country say they want to have a healthy baby. Really they hope to have a boy and a girl so that there family is balanced: mom, dad, boy and girl. I am a primary school teacher. I like both boys and girls. Like everyone else I hoped I would have had a girl first and then a boy. If I had only had one child I would have wanted to have a girl. I wouldn't have feel unsatisfied if I had not had a boy. I am so lucky because I have a teenage son, a toddler son and a baby daughter. I might have felt unsatisfied if I hadn't got my daughter. I am so delighted to at last have a girl and as well as my boys.

I don't think so. Actually today the people's concept has changed step by step. Boys and girls are also important. They are equal. We don't mind if we don't have a son. It is also nice to have a daughter. It is the same for us.

[b]I think a majority of fathers in the US would like to have at least one son, but for most, it's not a "must have" thing. They accept & love daughters, too.
I wouldn't care, personally, which I got. It doesn't matter at all to me. Of course, now I'm too old to have any more, anyway. Darn it...

Who cares about the gender when you have healthy babies lol. Either gender is fine with me, and I will love my children no matter what. I am grateful for whatever God gives me. I believe He knows what's the best for me. I am now almost 8 months pregnant, and we still do not know what we're having lol. I want it to be a surprise haha. Oh, I have one question for you though. So, you only can have one child in your country, what happens if you have more than one?

My husband has joked with me that our next child needs to be a son so he can watch out for his big sister! While having one of each would be wonderful, we would love our children no matter what their gender. I'm sure it's nice for those who have one of each to experience the different clothing, toys, and whatnot. Whether it's a boy or girl won't have any bearing on my love for them. :)
