I spent nearly one year and finished a cross stitch. It's a big red Chinese character“?”.In Englishe it means good luck.I'll give it a gift to my parents when they move into the new house.Last Spring festivel,I brought it home and promised to finish it before I starting the work.Shame that I failed.
In three months,I'll show this newly present again to my loved parents:)
Have you ever done this?Do you know it?

I used to when I was younger along with learning embroidery. I do have the material and pattern books galore for cross-stitching but time has been a bit tight and I am currently crocheting an afghan. One of these days, I will have to sit down and teach myself cross stitching again.

I did cross stitching in home economics in highschool. I love it, i wasn't as good as the other guys but I completed my sampler and I was proud of it! It's easy, just go by the grid on your pattern! :)

I do know how to cross-stitch because I needed to submit a cross stitch project for home economics when I was in elementary school. It is a really nice hobby because somehow it gives you a sense of accomplishment after you finish it since it is pretty time consuming. I haven't cross-stitch for years now but I kind of miss those days because I am an engineer now and my projects aren't so simple anymore. lol.
