Scam Alert in Mylot

I have received an alert from Mylot saying that there is a fellow myLot user who makes use of the task features to scam by asking money through paypal. What happened to this task? I am afraid I become a victim of this. Anyone can give an advice what happened to users who become victim and making them say that it is a scam?
