Hi guys.. I've been inactive this past few day. I can't generate any idea of what kind of discussion should I post here on mylot. It's seems that I already run out of topics to post. have you experience this kind of trouble? How and what did you do to generate discussions?

The greatest way to get yourbrain to think of one specific idea is by trying to not think at all. n art that has the Rishi's of India trying to do for thousands of years. I think our brains have become so used to the busyness of life we have forgotten how to just be still.

Thanx for that response. Actually I have just started here and have lots to comment on everything. I'm one of those people that have an opinion about everything. Basically I could talk about the inside of a ping-pong ball for hours, but no-one wants to listen to that.

Hi! It seems like you are more of a starter than a responder, meaning you like posting your own discussion than responding to others. If that's the case, then we are the same. I am also more of a starter than a responder. About the topics I generated, primarily it just based on the things that came to my mind. Especially if the one came to my mind is a general topic. If I can't think of any topic to discuss, I ended up discussing what I feel. Like when I feel sleepy, sick, and things like that. Sometimes I have also posted topics that I have regret, topics which are too specific and narrow, which resulted to few responses because only few people can relate to it. That is the topic that we should avoid posting, just like the last one I have posted about MafiaWars, only few myLotters are playing it. But if you really can't think of any topic to discuss, then that is the time to browse topics from other myLotters and respond to those which interests us. Happy myLotting!

There are really times like that, it's normal. Sometimes we can't think of a topic due to stress. In those times, we need to take a rest, then come back again after refreshing our mind. You're welcome. Happy myLotting!

At times, I have also felt like this. Some times when my mind goes blank, and I am not able to start any discussions, I just respond to other discussions. Some times, you will be able to start a new discussion, when you respond to others, and a new idea will come up. Other times, when you are taking a walk, or watching TV a new idea will come, just jot it down immediately, and from there, you can start some thing new.

looks like you found a discussion. thats just the trick. discuss whats in you mind now. trying to create popular discussions never succeed. if you just keep responding the topics will just pop up in your mind. well have a good time responding. in that ay you can earn more

If nothing comes to my mind, I just don´t post. It´s like when I´m at a reunion or a party. Sometimes I like to talk and have many things to say, other times I listen to what others say and sometimes I get bored and return home early. It happens like that here too, because it´s a social site. I don´t say "today I will post 10 discussions". The most I say is "I´ll go see what´s happening at mylot today". Having friends help, of coursae. I read what my freinds posted and try to answer the posts I´m interested in.
By the way, one way of being active is to answer other people´s posts. And even to commoen an answer.
I hope this helps. Luck!

Hello EARLZHAN this is checkmail and often do think similar thing before starting an discussion. But according to me we must start discussion which we like, love or know something about it.And even we can start some discussion of various day to day issues that concerns us.The responder must also get interested in such a discussion. If nothings appear in our mind just keep on responding to others discussion, some ideas will be generated just by participating here at Mylot..

It looks like you've thought of I really good one right now. I usually just start discussions on whatever I can think of. If i think of an interesting question or topic during the day ill remember it to put in MyLot.

When I see this discussion, I find that you have post another discussion. Just a joke.
In fact, I don't understand why you are worried about starting a new discussion. If you want to earn much more money here, you can keep active to post responses and comments. At the same time, these tasks are available to you. If you have interests in writing, these writing tasks here are your right answer too.
For me, when I meet some questions or want to share my amazing experience, I will start a new discussion to seek help. Happy myLotting!

Well, when I have a brain freeze, I just look for discussions to respond to on myLot and go with that for a while until or if I think of something. This way I am still productive on myLot. Most of my discussions are from real life situations . . . regarding friends, family, work, interests, thoughts, or whatever. Sometimes I'll stroll through the "interests" section to see if anything strikes me there. I tend to write a lot - especially in a free form format like this - so thinking up discussions isn't too much of a problem for me.

Yeah, there are those days that no matter how I wanted to have a good discussion, my mind never up to it. Ideas often come to my mind in an instant rather than forcing my mind to think of it.
