an idea...if anyone can help me... / myLot

some of you already know...that i have an addicted mother. She has been addicted to prescription drugs, and a lot of other things. I wanted to see if someone out there could possibly help me with an idea ive had for a while. I was thinking that you always hear about the people who are addicted or the parents of addicted people...but the children don't really get talked about. I wanted to start a support group website. something that is like a social networking site for children affected by their parents addiction...something where we can network...make friends blog and support one another. Tell me if you think this is a good idea or if you can help me with any part of this idea.

as lelin said - great idea and there probably are some like that there already. however they may not be exactly what you are looking for so in that case definitely start up your own.

Its a great idea but I believe there are some already helping kids of addicted parents. I would be surprised if one had not been started already. As for your mom have you thought about an intervention. Getting her help before its too late. Good luck to you and especially to your mom.
