how do u add friends on mylot

hi i am a newbie on mylot so dont have much friends on mylot . i add friend by going through the posts . if i like any post or some idea i add the person as my friend. so all the people in my friednlist are the ones who have some or the other time or always written something that i have liked to read . what about u how do u add friends on mylot . i know my friend who just goes into a discussion and starts adding anyone he sees on the discussion . he says that the more friends u have the more discussions of ur ineterest and the more u'll get best response for ur comment . i think thats kinda weird but is logical thaugh . more friends so more people will know what discussion u have started and they will reply first and increase and promote ur discussions. that helps a lot in earning money . what do u think??
