Have u watched MJ 'This Is It'??

The film shows the entire creative process for the staging of what would have been Michael Jackson's "This Is It" concert. It starts out with several production members talking about working how it is/was to work with the King of Pop. Some interviewees were so emotional that they were reduced to tears trying to describe the honor. It goes on to show members of the band, the principal dancers, as well as other members of the crew as they worked to put the show together. The central focus however was on MJ himself. It showed how dedicated he was to his craft and to his fans. He was extremely hands on with the production. The lights, the special effects, the choreography. It was beyond words. You should see it for yourself!

I just watched it on Monday. I think it's a rollercoaster ride. It started out with a bang: the backup dancer story of how grateful they are to be chosen to dance with MJ, MJ first performances that really2 upbeat and showed that he still have a lot of moves even he's already 50 yo. There is emotional moment when he rehearse I'll Be There, he really sing it from the heart although he's not sing it fully cause he wanted to keep his voice for the concert. then it became a little boring in the middle, maybe because the performance come up a little bit repetitive and the performance has less dancers. Overall, it's really better than I thought it would be, MJ are always showing great performances during his concert, it is a pity such a big concert must be halt.

I heard from someone that the movie is actually a documentary. But from the above response, I am convinced that it is going to be interesting. Gotta watch it.

I am not a big fan of MJ. But, this movie definitely bring MJ live in front of us. It shown MJ concert's rehearsal. He critic on every single detail that he felt cannot deliver perfectly to the audience. He look like a professional and perfectionist. You must go to watch it. There are two parts where I almost cry out because the song being sang so touching and the poetry he read really inspired.
