Because of the financial crisis, putting money in the bank is not safe. The stock marketing is also dangerous. I know there must be some good opportunities. So i want to do some business, but I dont know whick kind of business I should do? I am a Database Administrator. Do you have some good suggestions?

I don't invest my money in banks. Firstly it's because their interest rates are so low that putting money in them makes me feel that I am just handing my money to them for safekeeping purposes.
Many people say that investing in stock is dangerous...I agree but what I did was during the peak of recession I bought some blue chip stocks since their value went down so low. Now that the market is recovering atleast I did make some gain and what's more I was able to purchase a stock that give regular semi-annual dividend.
I do believe that investing in whatever kind always have some risks. So when you invest always prepare yourself for the worse.
I would suggest the food business is a great place to invest your money. Since food is a basic necessity. People cannot go on living without food.
