Getting bored here at mylot..

Yes I do find myself getting bored. It seems that after three years on myLot there are not too many new discussions that I have not already seen countless numbers of times before.

hi asweetie, a good topic with so many responses. i have the same thought with you. i have not reached 500 postings, but i feel it is broing already. it is so hard to post more everyday. in the first days i came here, i thought it was interesting, but no curiosity now but boring comes. but i still keep posting here for i have not reached my first $10

Sometimes it can be nice to take a little break away from the site. Day after day, there are many discussions that seem to be so much like the ones the day before. After I look around in many different subjects, if I don't feel that I have anything good to contribute I just close the site and do something else. Also there are some days when I just don't feel that much like writing or I'm tired from doing my other work. I find that it is much better for me to be rested and refreshed before I sit down to type. I make a little more sense and have fewer typographical errors.

Oh dear, I do know how you feel. Lately, I have not been posting her and have not actually been logging in to mylot. I had already reached my 2nd payout and the first thing that would really come to your mind, is really to do more postings. But it is actually the opposite. I do it now as a tension releaser more of an income generation site.

I am actually quite opposite of the way that you are. I actually feel overwhelmed at the number of discussions that I want to take part in. I think that the discussions on each day do differ and sometimes there aren't as many discussions that I'd like to respond to and other days I feel like there isn't enough time in the day to respond to the discussions that I am interested in. I don't concentrate on what I am trying to earn though, I instead am concentrating on trying to make friends and learn and I always have a good time while I am here.

500 post !!! i am getting bored of 10 post itself ... and there are some problem when i post .... i feel bored like u but not after doing 500 just after doing 10

I also feel bored here as teh payout is very much less and you cannot predict that how much you are going to get per post. One day I have posted 30 comment and I got only $0.05

there is no way anyone could post 500 posts a day unless they were on here twenty four/7,or making one line posts which will' earn zero cents.,must be three or four,even five lines is better to earn anything. as for discussions and quality there are t ons of discussions on here ,how can you not find quality ones among those that you think are not quality? maybe you just skim read the titles and not get the gist of the discussions, I am not bored at all.

Well, I can understand how you might get burned out. It becomes a bit.. redundant after a while. And some days, we just aren't MOTIVATED to come on! And honestly, it doesn't change much after you reach 500. There are still going to be days where you don't feel in the MyLot "mood". And that's just how it is. So take a break, read or go out and do something - and maybe inspiration and motivation will come back to you. If it doesn't.. There's always tomorrow.

I haven't suffered from burnout but there are a lot of things I don't like about mylot as well as some things I do like about it. I won't go into detail about the things I don't like about it but I do like the fact that we can connect with people from all over the world. I also like the fact that we can talk about anything on here. It's pretty much like we're all sitiing around the table discussing different issues. Kathy.

Tell me please, how much you can earn by posting 500 posts everyday on mylot? Don't you think it's very meagre amount, what mylot pays per post. at least it should be 5 cents per post. My lot is so popular and reliable site. I wonder what's their problem in incresing the rates? I have earned two payouts here but that is mostly from the tasks and not from the posts.

myLot is more than just a minting site. It gives one an opportunity to interact with like minded people at a global level. You teach something here, you learn something you show case your life by uploading photos. It is in your hands to make it interesting and in the process you will start earning too!!!

Me to get bored sometimes.but it happens when my mood is not good.then i dont feel like posting or responding.rather i came on mylot and just read without hitting my keyboard.i think it also happens due to small earning rate.

Hello asweetie. Yes, most of the time i feel the same. Often happens that I open myLot, check the discussions my friends started, check the newest discussions, check some of my interest discussions, and close the site. Luckely, sometimes happens that I find some good discussion, or simply my mood is not so bored, and I'm beable to answer some discussions, as well as open one or two new ones. Wish both of us will be more active here in the near future. The payout should be not so far away;) Have a nice time

How you rate a quality discussion and what format you said quality? Will you please elaborate with me how discussion being measured as quality? As far as I know mylot, will measure the quality of discussion but most of the responders and commenter and even the written discussion is written in one lines or one words only...I don't think if those discussion or response rated as quality?

I sometimes get bored. I just give mylot a little break and then pick it up again in a few days or weeks. That usually solves the problem. You never know when a great discussion will be started. Don't give up, just take a little mylot vacation!

Hi asweetie! I am near my 500 posts and same here, I feel a bit bored sometime in here. Sometimes I just can't see some discussions that interest me. I don't know if I am just not in the mood or what. But that feeling comes and goes.

Yes, I've been a tad inactive the last few days on MyLot. Though this might have been the cause of boredom, I've mainly been focusing most of my attentions on article writing for eHow, Xomba, Associated Content, Helium, and my two blogs.
