I personally try not to take any kind of medication unless I'm desperate.... and I mean in a lot of pain, lol. I have been known to go for years without taking so much as a paracetamol, but I have been taking painkillers more often lately, due to re occuring migraines. I used to suffer from them many years ago but they've recently returned.... unfortunately!

sometimes if have headache and toothaches, but usually, i dont take them, i just let the pain go away by themselves... i just sleep and watch tv and sleep and do things normally and divert my pain to other things... but if its hard to concentrate, i just sleep and sleep.

For years I have taken tylenol for headaches and pain. I am a cancer patient and my Oncologist told me to stop taking tylenol, he prescribe a pain killer for me. He said that too much tylenol was hard on the liver. I still take a tylenol once in a while for headaches.

I could take mild pain reliever for toothache. Just to relieve the pain.
I usually go to the doctor for prescription for my body pains and swelling lymph nodes.
