I am having a baby and I am actually due on December which makes me really excited. Anyway, I just want to know what are the things that I should be start preparing before the big day? What to buy or what to have? Aside from that I still don't have a clue yet on what's the gender. Maybe you can help me by suggesting a name for a baby boy as well as for a baby girl.

Congratulations on your pregnancy. I am so pleased for you because it sounds like you are excited about having your dear little baby. You might be able to find out the gender of your baby from 16 weeks onwards by ultrasound. If not you could just buy neutral colors for your baby's equipment. It is usually blue for a boy, pink for a girl and another color is for both genders. Perhaps you could look at names for babies on the Internet or in a book. I like Holly for a girl which is fitting in December. I like Noel for a boy that is born in December. I suggest you buy a cot, a buggy, nappies and clothing in the 0 to 3 months age range. Good luck in your pregnancy.

My baby girl is called Amber. My toddler son is called Leo. I like the name Holly but my baby girl wasn't born in December. I hope that you have lots of enjoyment choosing your baby's name. I think shopping for baby things is a lovely activity. Good luck.

Yay! Amber does sounds cute. Why didn't you combine Amber and Holly?

Thank you so much. Yes! I am pretty excited to see my first born, I just can't wait. Anyway, Holly is such a nice name for a girl.

congratulations! babys are so exciting! besides all the basics, you should have some meals put in the freezer ahead of time so maybe during that first week you dont have to worry about food. i am sure you will be exhausted because of the baby.

Congratulations! I guess my advice would be for your husband/bf/partner who will be with you. I don't know if people can come into the delivery room in your place, but he should have batteries! I remember when my second child was born and we thought we got everything ready. I was in the delivery room with a video cam in one hand and digital camera on the other hand. Well, in the rush to the hospital I forgot to charge both. The only new born pictures I got were fuzzy ones from my cellphone. Goodluck!

Hahaha! You are so funny but I'll keep that in mind. I must go and check if the batteries are well charged and all that. Thank you so much.

Congratulations! I suggest that you do not need to be so nervous, just need to propare in adsance a number of essential newborn baby clothes, small milk pots, towels, diapers on it. The other after the birth of the baby and then the actual situation, as well as an experienced mother or the hospital's medical advice for your family Zaiqu ready. Because it did not know the baby is a boy or a girl, then you buy baby clothes when you can pick some of the more neutral colors, like yellow, white and so on
