that is a seriously tough call, there is george lucas, for star wars, tim burton for the nightmare before christmas, that is by far one of my favorite works of his. wow , i am not sure who the director is for this trilogy he is russian he directed, nightwatch, daywatch, twilight watch i think the last one is called. also guillermo for sin city.

oops and quentin tarantino, i cannot pick a favorite one because they are all awesome, especially kill bill and resevoir dogs, that is the first tarantino movie i watched followed by pulp fiction.

One of my favorite all time directors is Ridley Scott, my favorite films are Blade Runner, Gladiator, and American Gangster. Blade Runner, because of cinematography and set design, Gladiator and American Gangster because of story.
Another favorite director of mine is Michael Mann and believe it or not I like Miami Vice as one of my favorite films from him. I love Collateral way better though.
I'm finding my self to be a fan of Chris Nolan's work.

My all time favorite director is Steven Spielberg. He is marvelous director, and his movies are awesome.
When I was kid I like his movie "Jurassic Park".
