I know some ladies that tried to get either a baby boy or a baby girl. They concentrated on diet, timing and position. 100% of the ladies that wanted to get a baby boy got one. Only 57% of the ladies that wanted to get a baby girl got one. I have got a teenage boy, a toddler boy and a baby daughter. What do you think of ladies trying to get a baby boy or a baby girl? Have you got boys or girls?

In our country,Couples used to be a boy lover in someplace out of the way.A saying goes like that son can afford you when you old and the daughter like water when spilled over, you can't back it again. It means girls will marry and move out the home.I'm still a student, and go on be several years.I love it despite girl or boy,I just love him or her as my baby.

I always wanted both a girl and boys and I've actually ended up getting one of each. My daughter was born first and my son was born second. However, if there would have been a way for me to chose their genders I would have had my son first and my daughter later. The reason for that is that I wanted my daughter to have a big brother to protect her when she got older. I've heard all of those things about trying for either a boy or a girl, but we never tried any of those. We just ended up with what we had. I do, however, remember learning in biology that boys were conceived more often than girls (and also lost in spontaneous abortion more often as well) so that could be the reason that 100% of the women that wanted a boy got one.

Thanks for your excellent response. It is a shame that some boys are lost in miscarriages. Yes, more boys are conceived that girls. I am glad that your have an older son and a younger daughter. You deserve the best response.

I'm expecting to get 2 girls and 2 boys but it didn't happen. I got 3 girls and 1 boy. Now a days boy or girl has no difference. It depend on how we rise them up. As long as they can make us proud. Having children around make me happy enough.

You are lucky. You have a baby boy and a girl. I have only one daughter,no boy. It's enough to both of us. I think most of the ladies prefer son.

I think in every woman's mind, before the child is born, she has some type of wishes in what she would like the boy to be. And I don't see anything wrong with that. I wasn't aware that the outcome for boys was so much higher than girls. I also wasn't aware that there were so many different things that you could do in your attempts in order to get a specific gender. That's pretty interesting, thanks for sharing. I don't have any children myself. But my brother and sister-in-law almost gave up on getting a boy because there were already 3 girls, but they decided to try once again and finally got that baby boy to carry on the family name!

Whether it is a baby boy or baby girl, it is not up to us to decide. I won't fuss about whether my future baby is a boy or girl. It would be perfect if I can get both boy and girl. I just want my babies to be healthy and happy.

I don't have any children, myself. I have a female dog and a male horse, though, lol! My pets are a lot like kids to me. As far as what I think about ladies trying to have a baby boy or a baby girl, I wonder if the diet, timing, and position really work? I think it's up to God what the gender of the baby should be and the parents should be proud to have either one. Kathy.

Dear maximax8, Hahaha, this is a very popular thoughts that always came to us (ladies). I love boys and girls, however, I only have a son. If I can have two,, then I would like to have a girl too. Since I am not young and my husband is old, we are not so financially strong, so we stop at one. You are really blessed to have boys and girl. Chinese olden days prefered boys. This is a BIG Question in China as their country policy is once child per parent.
