I remember when pop music was actually good and worth listening to. Now a days it seems like pop music should be called crap music. Anyone can be a pop star now, and as long as they have a crappy catchy song then they can climb up the charts while other real musicians have to suffer. Will we ever see good pop music artist like Michael Jackson and Madonna?

Hello, EdTv00. I also often think about it. There is no way not to appear a new King and a new Queen . But, honestly this will be NOT our Kings. This will be the idols of our children. And we will wonder how they can like them so much and will tell what Michael we had and what Madonna we had. Nowadays there is a milions of singers and groups all over the world. But no one of them can't replace our Michael. Well, will see after few years who will be that person, who will be able to reach that top.

It seems like music is always changing. However, some of the greats still keep making hits and having sold out concerts. There will always be the one hit wonders coming around from time to time. And the styles of music that are popular will always be changing. Just like back in the 70's and early 80's we just called the music rock n roll. Now it is considered to be Classic Rock. And I don't know what they call heavy metal from those days, does it fit into the Classic Rock formula as well. I think that pop rock has kind of taken over where country used to be. Any artist who couldn't make it into pop rock back in the day, just did country tunes. Did you know even Jerry Springer was a country singer at one time? LOL Interesting discussion EdTv00. Hope you have a great day!
