Hi June,
80's music is simply the best! I love listening to it and kinda feel nostalgic-- it brings out the my memories back in 80s. Funny, but everything is refreshed and i love the feeling. i will not enumerate particular songs -- it's 80's songs/music!

Yes I agree with you. Listening to the oldies are much relaxable than today's music. Nowadays I always or I must always listen to Dan Hill's songs every time I opened my computer. But as for the music today, there are only few I listened, maybe it's also because I'm starting to getting old now, LOL

Well, juneau27, I most certainly have to agree with you on your take of the 70's and 80's music in comparison with today's music.
I really enjoyed AC DC, Poison, Twisted Sister, Bad Company, Bob Seger, Billy Joel, the Eagles and a number of different singers from that day. I even have a cassette box filled with only these types of music that I save and listen to when I am traveling. If I can't find anything on the radio, I will pop open the little plastic case of music, and see what I can find. I usually will listen to anything my hand grabs because it is all good music.
By the way, I noticed you are quite new here to myLot! Let me send out a great big WELCOME your way, and hope that you will enjoy the site!

I couldn't of said it any better myself the music of the 70's and 80's are far more superior than the crap they call music today.I hardly ever listen to todays music, it's lacks creativity and purpose. I listen to a variety of music some of my favorites artist are: Jimi Hendrix, Chicago, Spinners, Temptations, Beatles, Micheal Jackson, The eagles, Lynard Skynard... etc.

Some really good bands but no one mentioned the 80s Journey with Steve Perry.

I like 70's and 80's music than the music now. I am a musician and I started to worked in the clubs in the 70's. We played songs like Play the funky music, Shake your booty, That's the way I like it and many more. I am still keeping some Cds of these songs as a rememberance. I missed those days..
