I currently have dial-up, have had it for 5 years. Yes, it's slow but it's cheap and gets the job done. Well that's what i said before i heard that other internet connections where cheaper. A freind told me somthing about ethernet adapters/cables. I found that most of them were cheaper than my dail-up, and alot faster. Anyone have any recomendations?

If you can go through your cable company or your phone company you can probably get a pretty good deal. A friend of mine has his cable, phone, and DSL internet all on one bill. They pay about $100 altogether for the three of them. I think this is an excellent deal. And the DSL is pretty fast. You can also sign up with some of the cable companies and get broadband cable for a special sign up price. Some are offering all three for around $100 as well, but I think it goes up after the first year.
