what are the strategies to increase earnings from clixsense?

Recently, my earning from clixsense is slowing down. I simply getting one ad per day to click on. So, it was more like 1 cent per day. I just wonder how long would it take to earn up to $2 to $3? I just need some good advise to how to increase my earnings from clixsense? Should I invested some money and upgrade it? So, I would get more ads to click on per day, or something else?
