Please Keep A Fellow MyLotters In Your Prayers

She might be embarrassed as heck that I'm doing this but I only got to my emails now and found one from a fellow MyLotter, blackbriar that early this morning around 8 a.m. she had to be raced to the ER due to severe cramping. She's had a lot of "female" problems in the past. She didn't say much in her email to me just being raced over to the ER. So if you're a friend of hers and even if not, please keep her in your thoughts and prayers. To make this a discussion as well, do you find you get involved in and with your on-line friends, perhaps even more than those people in your "real" life? I know I do...I have a real empathy for all my friends here and at Facebook, etc. and I hate to hear anyone in pain, distress or grief. So once again send prayers to blackbriar.

Awww, I hope she is feeling better even though I don't know her. Prayers are always good so consider it done. Yes, I do get involved sometimes with my online friends. Friends are friends Pye even if you have never met and I'm sure you understand what I'm saying. Some of my online friends are more special than my other friends that I see and talk to, lol! Prayers are sent hon.

Yes so many of my on-line friends are more special than my real life friends. That's why I get so concerned too when some of my friends on-line are MIA since I wonder what is happening in their lives....thanks for your prayers to her

I don't know her, but she is now in my prayers. I've had such wonderful responses from friends when I need prayers. And, by the way, one of the friends I asked for prayers for cuz of his heart needs more and would you please add Bud to your prayers too. Blackbriar will be prayed for you can count on that. Thanks and God Bless, quita

errrrrrrrrr.......ya don't, dawn? I do recall a discussion of your last night that had me pissing my pants and rolling in gales of laughter. lol Something to do with 'wings' and flying around. I'm feeling somewhat better but until this surgery is done with, the pain will come back even more. I started a discussion about it here... http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/2174250.aspx

You are a wonderful friend to post this, Pye! I don't know Blackbriar, but I will certainly keep her in my prayers and wishes. The positive energy from them crosses all faiths and beliefs, and can have such an impact when needed. As far as online friends go, do you remember when you were little, how it was if your folks let you stay in the backyard until after dark? You'd sit near each other whispering secrets, and sharing your soul...even if you couldn't see one another, you knew they were there. That's how online friends are. You may not ever see them, but over time you learn their heart and soul almost as well as you know your own.

I've already seen, and responded to, Blackbriar's discussion. But I didn't know there was a problem until I saw your discussion first - then went looking for her discussion, since I didn't get this until today - the day after you posted it. geee, I wish Blackbriar would come back and spend more time here - what can that other site offer that this one doesn't have?

lol Elic...I'm sorry I haven't been so active here like I used to be. Just tired of alot of my friends here getting banned. Go look at my friend's list. At LEAST half of them are no longer here. Most were banned, some just lost interest. Katesmama got ahold of me over in FB just yesterday and I damn near hit the roof jumping for joy cause I missed talking to her here and didn't know what happened to her. Yes, I miss alot of my friends here that still active but wish you and Maggie would come over to FB as well. Would love to see Gabs there as well. Only bad thing about FB is it doesn't pay us to interact there but least we aren't getting bothered by trolls. Besides, like Pye said, the games have me hooked. lol I so enjoy having full control over several farms over there and stealing veggies from my friends.

Games, games, games...LOL..why the heck do you think I spend a good amount of time there...many MyLotters are over there even ones that are no longer here either by deleting their account or were banned--like that bear that used to be here, goodie is there too. yeah we can email each other but it's not the same as interacting over there with the games

Oh pye! I can honestly say I know what she's feeling for I had problems every month till I finally had a hysterectomy. That time of the month was a nightmare for me for 2 if not 3 days. I've been rushed to the ER so many times I lost count. Please, tell her to get a prescription of anaprox which is nothing more than Aleve really but a prescription is stronger. It was my life saver. 275 mg x's 2 for the first dose and then 1 every 4 to 6 hours is what I took but they don't have that dosage anymore but something like 250 mg and 500 mg. Still, when I was given the 500 mg I took one full pill and a 1/4 of another for the first dose and then one thereafter. It depends on how much it helps each person individually in how much they really need to take. I'm telling you, it was my life saver.

hmmmmmmmmmm......your not on my friend's list, cats. Could of sworn we were friends but guess not. Anyways, thanks for your prayers and info. No prescription pain relievers but I was taking 3 generic motrins every 3 hrs. just to take the edge off. The pain is barely there now and once this surgery is over and done with, no more pain at all!!! I started a discussion about this to better explain what's been happening... http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/2174250.aspx

I got an email back from her and she's back from the hospital. She's been having a variety of "female" troubles including uterine fibroids AND UTI..the jerk docs haven't been doing too much for her from what I gather, but they're going to schedule her for surgery sometime next week..why they didn't help her sooner is a mystery.

Believe it or not I got an email from her not too long ago...she has had health problems yet the jerk docs never seem to do much for her, but they are going to do more tests and schedule her for surgery next week...thing I can't understand her docs knew of her health problems long time ago, yet never did anything until this ER emergency trip of hers

Oh my, that's pretty serious, for sure. Once a surgery is involved, things can become pretty shaky. I would be angry with the docs too, like how come they could not detect any heavy symptoms, or warn her beforehand before things get worst. That's why I always believe in instinct. Like, 2nd opinions or even 3rd ones are always good when it comes to medical, but our body can give us signs if we are unwell.

hi pyewacket I will send a lot of prayers her way for blackbriar, I wondered where she was, I have often' responded to her discussions and wondered whether or not she was on my friendslist, I have a ton now, and am too soft hearted to do any weeding. But I always feel for mylot friends, they have all become so dear to me, and have been there for me in the past too. So my prayers go out to her as I know how painful our female problems can be, been there and done that myself. hope she is soon a lot better, take care pye. hatley here. my son just phone me and told me he has the flu,he was going to come see me today but wants to wait til Saturday. he was coughing really bad,odd but he is now fifty, and still my baby. but I sure would not tell him that.

She's not that active here, but more over at Facebook now, where I hang out as well...Even though her email to me was just a sentence it really alarmed me since I know she was having a lot of serious female problems...and thanks so much for your prayers. When you went "missing" many of us here including me were very concerned and wondered how you were

I would love to get envolved with many of the Mylotters I have met here on Mylot. I have put out feelers and told different ones to feel free to contact me but none have. I have a real empathy for them when they have a down time or when things are going on in their lives and they need to vent. I guess I am just not one they feel comfortable with or something. Not sure. That doesn't make my empathy or caring change though. Blessings and good tiding to them. I think they know who they are.

Sending lots of love hugs and prayers to our dear Blackbriar. I hope the docs get her straightened out soon. How awful for her to have to go through even more than what she's already dealt with. I am most definitely one of those that becomes very attached to both my online and my offline friends. I tend to get pretty involved with them as well. Friends are friends no matter where they are and we can't help but love and care for them.

Consider it done. I will keep praying for blackbriar until I hear that she is feeling much better. I feel like I know so many people here so well, we share so much through our discussions and one of the reasons that I am so thankful that I discovered MyLot is not only doing something I enjoy very much but having the knowledge that here I have friends and if I feel like pouring my heart out, there is always somebody who will listen and respond so I never feel alone.

Several hours after I first wrote this discussion, amazingly I got another email from her--basically they did exam her and give her some different meds ...she's had uterine fibroids that SHOULD have been removed over a year ago, but it wasn't done, on top of that she has a UTI right now...it's the fibroids that are causing her cramping and bleeding problems (she has her "period" everyday now not just a few days)--anyway the jerk docs are finally going to schedule surgery for her but now it's going to be a hysterectomy--can you believe it? What would have been a simple surgery procedure is now going to be major...I kind of suggested to her if there is some way she could sue the initial docs for negligence...nuts no wonder I think the medical profession sucks--she started her own discussion btw about it all

thanks for the prayers, paula! Pye, I'm on the medical card and a very limited list of doctors will accept it here. I can't just get 2nd and 3rd opinions either cause public aid won't pay for it. Sux not having decent insurance but at least I'm not paying full out-of-pocket.

I'm New here, but yes, I too will pray for her. I hope that she has somebody to take care of her, because the worst feeling is when you're sick..and you're lonely. Then yes..Halleluyah for the internet ! We can then still find some comfort and chat with 'someone" even though we look awful and feel miserable. It's alright to feel close with our on-line friends, they are real human beings too. I too had once experience bad cramps, and it's all because of the IUD Spirals I was wearing for birth-control. Every time I postpone going to the bathroom, the cramps attacked me. Once I took them off..cramps never came back again.
