I just got in US a month ago and it's getting really cold since I'm living in the rocky mountains.. I never had nor experiment winter in my life except when I was baby when I was in South Korea, but I wouldn't remember for sure.. So yea, winter is just around the corner, in a few weeks.. I'm not sure what to expect for winter but I'm sure it's going to be really really cold and freezing..

Winter is very beautiful! You will have heat inside but when you go outside be sure to dress warmly and wear gloves and a head covering. We usually only keep our houses at 68 degrees here in order to save money--some will say it's to save energy but money is the bottom line. Wear socks and slippers, an undershirt under your top shirt and thermal underwear is good, too. I hope you enjoy the winter, it is so lovely!

My first winter experience was at Austria. My second winter experience was at South Korea too. I enjoyed making snowman during winter. Admiring those people skiing down the snowing mountains. However, I heard that winter is very cold and at times annoying as snows accumulating and blocks the road. Talking about winter, makes me feel like holiday and Christmas is apporaching. I believe your first winter will be a great experience. Happy holiday to you

it is really cold during the winter but the best part is the snow! its so fun to play in it and on frozen lakes n stuff (always with a buddy for safety of course). my favorite time i ever had during the winter was a few years ago the weather was just right that we had a few snows that made a really good layer of snow on the ground and then the top parts thawed and refroze in such a way that there was a smooth solid crust of ice covering everything and it was like ice skating everywhere you went it was easier to sit and slide down hills on your butt than to try and walk down them. that was one of the best days of my life cause i love sledding and sliding on ice so much :D

Where were you? I mean, did you take a trip to a nice warm sunny beach/country? Hey, where was I? The part that I most love about the winter is the snow. Now, don't get me wrong, I didn't say I love "living" in the snow, but I only like playing in the snow for a few hours and then go back home and get warm and fuzzy. When I think of winter and snow, I remember my childhood, and how easy everything seemed. We would stay out for hours and hours, get soaked wet, from all the snow that would get into our boots, soak up our gloves, it would get our hair wet, but heck, who cared, we were having a ball. Having fun in the snow just seems so easy, because it's harmless (well, yeah, to some extent), and it doesn't require to know how to swim, for example, in order to have fun. And where do you add up that snow, for most people is synonym to Christmas and winter holidays? I don't know..I guess we all have that one little thing that sends us back to childhood, and for me, snow does it. Oooh..did I mention that I met my husband in the winter? But that at a different topic.
