Do your company pay you bonus this year...?

During this economy downturn, a lot of companies joined into bankruptcy. Most of the companies that survived also suffered huge lost in annual revenue. Since year end is near, everyone is looking forward for bonus announcement. Anyone get good news already? Do your company still pay you large amount of bonus this year?

BONUS, HAH!
We don't get any bonus here. We haven't even gotten a raise in two years.
but they never give bonuses anyway. No sick time, no personal time. I do get vacation pay- and I don't have to actually take the vacation to get paid so that is my bonus. 2 times a year, I go nowhere - take NO time off and I get 2 extra weeks of pay. If I am out sick I lose about $100 in wages.. so I come to work sick as I have done all this week -with a fever and everything.. Because the bills still must be paid. :)

Ha, No - not even close to boss.. lol
But I do work 45 hours a week. 3rd shift.
But there really aren't that many people who would be able or want to work my shift- so I get stuck doing it . :)
If I were the boss- I would give myself sick days :0)

Wow, why you sound like you work for your company 24 hours? Sick also need to work? You must be the boss of the company, right?

Well, I think that the company I am in right now will still give what is due their employees like me. We are entitled to a 13th month pay or we call it the christmas bonus because it is always given on December. I think that it will not be scratched since it is part of our law where companies to give their regular employees a 13th month pay equivalent to one month of salary.

Where are came from? How come so good that your country's law restrict companies must pay 13th month salary. As far as I know only certain company promise to give 13th month salary as bonus.

I am from the Philippines and it is a law enacted by our lawmakers for all companies to pay 13th month pay.
