PRO-LIFERS do CARER FOR BOTH MOTHER & BABY

[b]I just posted this very letter on a thread about eBay, & whether it was right to remove "anti-choice" material that glorified the abortionist Tiller from their site. I think they do have the right, but their reason is a phony one, since they state they won't allow the sale of "anything which glorifies violence," yet they have many pages where things which glorify sensational serial killers to stay up.... Still, that aside, some folks in the thread are under the mistaken impression that pro-lifers don't care a whit about the mothers, & when people such as I tried to tell them we do support them, even financially, they assumed we were lying! So this is what I wrote: To dispel the myth that pro-lifers don't care for the mothers, yes we DO help the mothers! There are countless organizations which support the mother & her baby with food, clothing, job-finding, education & other such needs! You just don't know about them because the pro-abort media don't tell people, & the pro-abort industry is dead set against us, & censor us! Proof? How's this? I once put up posters which gently told women that if they had a "problem pregnancy" that they could get help so as to be able to give birth, & detailed some of the many services the organizations provided. These listed the phone numbers & addresses of the various organizations around town. No preaching, no "hate," just an offer of sincere help. About 20 minutes later I was returning by the path I'd taken & saw that most of the posters had been defaced--usually ripped but all with vicious language scrawled on them in big angry letters--& some were ripped down & left in shreds on the ground. I put more up. Second verse, same as the first. This happened a couple more times, even though I tried different locations. See above for results. Finally I had an idea. I got a permanent marker which could even write on glass, & made a bunch of copies of the poster, each one increasing in size. I went out & found a window in a nearby building which looked only into a darkened basement. I wanted to be sure no-one in the building would take down my poster just because it blocked views, & further, no-one there was likely to notice it while in the basement. I doubted they'd care even if they did. I wrote a message directly on the glass, & taped my smallest poster over it. Then I taped the next larger poster over that, & continued 'til the largest poster covered everything. I believe there were about 9 posters. I left, & returned shortly afterward, just to see what, if anything, had happened. Every poster had been removed, & even the ink had been scratched, though they couldn't get it off. I almost wish I'd had time to stay & see the face(s) of whomever it was that had surely gone ballistic when they got to my pen's note. It read: "SO...YOU REALLY DON'T BELIEVE IN FREE SPEECH, DO YOU?" So yes, there ARE plenty pf folks out here that DO care about both the mothers AND their babies. You'll have to ask yourself why you haven't heard of us.... Maggie...I completely understand what you are saying. There is so many things in this world that get construded by wrong perceptions, by what people think they see. And there are many who get so misled because of these wrong assumptions. I commend you for your strength in trying to help women and the unborn. God has given all of us a special passion in life, and this certainly seems to be yours. Don't give up! We need people like you around! And I am sure there will be a very special place for you in Heaven some day!

[b]Well, thank you Sweet, but I know my faults! (And so does He...) It is a particular passion of mine. I have others, too, however. In general, decent values & common sense (never truly "common," so I always wonder why it's called that!). Among my highest priorities is truth. Oh, & while I never gamble, if something like a winning lottery ticket came to me, after making certain my Church need never sweat the bills again, I'd start a no-kill animal shelter! Hey, nobody is perfect...lol! But it's what we good we do in life that He notices! And I always said, that if I won the lottery, my church would no longer be in debt either...unfortunately, He doesn't seem to hear that prayer..lol

Yes, she really did do this. I even saw the spot where she put it and the message.
