Is there something you keep on doing even though you know it's bad or wrong?

I can't explain why but I really keep on procrastinating. I have experienced a lot of troubles because of procrastination but I still can't change myself. I always tend to procrastinate no matter how many times I have promised to plan everything ahead already.. :( How about you? What's one thing you can't help but doing despite knowing it's bad or wrong?

I have bad eating habits. I don't eat on time but mostly its because of work schedules. I also consume too much caffeine I think. Well, we all have our vices but at least I'm not doing anything against the law.

Haha well, as long as it doesn't hurt anyone, then I suppose it's okay. I just get caught up and the hours go by without me noticing.

I am guilty of not eating on time as well. I don't know why, but I just can't seem to find the appetite to eat on the right time..And i also have to gree with you, whatever our vices ma be, as long as we are not violating any law, ten we're good to go..hehehe

Delete smoking, add procrastination, and u have somebody quite like me. :) I brood a lot, even after the matter is over, and I've made my point, and others have accepted that I am in right, I can still get worked up remembering how much I suffered. Luckily, there was an article the other day. It said sadness makes u alert. :) So I guess, I am alert. :) LOL.

When I was pregnant, I had severe nausea and was taking betel nut powder to control the vomiting feeling in the office. But after three pregnancies, this habit of eating betel nut powder has not left me. I know it is bad for health. But I am not able to leave it.

Oh yeah. Aside from discoloration of the teeth, addiction, diarrhea and dizziness, I also learned that taking high doses of betel powder can be deadly..I hope you find a way to slow down your intake..Good luck!

yeah, sure. Bad habits die hard. I know staying up late is bad, but I still can not resist the temptation to sleep late, watching movies, listening to stories. Eating rich food and too much meat is also my unhealthy habit. I know I should eat more fruit and vegies but I just dislike the taste of them.

Got to agree with this! I stay up late everyday because I've convinced myself that I am more efficient working at night..i also refuse to eat vegetables even if i completely know their importance.. :(

Hi,friend,i had an habit of smoking since 20 years.I want to stop this since 6 years as my children are growing and few times ask me to stop.But i couldnot.I could avoided drink which was associated with me for 14 years. Have a strong desire to stand on what you wish,All the best.

Hmmmm this one is a tough one for there are so many that I do. Procrastinating, whining, belly aching, cussing, being lazy, sleeping to much, lying, eating when I'm bored and the list goes on. Its sad when you know it's bad or wrong but we're only human.

Hello calai. I know it is bad to sit too long before the computer, but I still sit there for a long time even if I feel my eyes small. I think that I need to control myself to avoid something that is not good to my health.

im definately a procrastinator too. usually, once i get going with something, its okay but its the getting started that's difficult. do you think its bad or wrong to wake up to early? i am an early riser that cant get out of that habit no matter how hard i try. I JUST WANT TO SLEEP IN!

Hi! Well, I think the bad habit that I kept doing even I know its bad is smoking. I don't why but I can't stop smoking even for a day. Other bad habit is sleep late at night. This also gives a lot of problem to me and its also related to my habit of smoking.

Sleeping late at night (or make that early in the morning) is one of the things I am guilty of as well. I can't explain it but I just seem so efficient working at night, when everyone is asleep. I feel more comfortable and I feel more alive during that time..

yeah.No doubt, I'm always doing one wrong thing-smorking,though I know it's harmful to my health. This is a habit. We can see if you have a good habit,obviously you are the happiest man in the world.

I keep lying even though I know its bad. Like, i said I've been to this one place but actually I never. Sometimes, I lied because I don't want to hurt people. I know its bad to lie but, I still can't help it. I want to change but I know it'll take time for me to do it.

I like eating grill meat although it is bad for the health. When I eat the grilled mutton, I always eat some onion. I think onion can reduce the hyperlipemia which is made by the meat.

Hmmm... does being raised by a depressive over eater who taught me her bad ways count? I'd lke to drop the weight but I see more roadblocks than opportunties/ motvations to get things going.

Aside from not exercising enough and too much chocolate I would have to say that the one thing that I wish I would make an effort to change is the amount of sleep I get. I am always up before dawn because I am a morning person and I am at my best then but it is taking its toll on me because I have been having too many late nights so yes, not getting enough sleep is one habit I wish I would change but keep on doing it anyway!

get rid of bad habits - it is not easy to get rid of bad habits.
I guess that most people here will keep on doing something even though you know it's bad or wrong. I mean most people have some bad habits, such as smoking, drinking and so on. Having bad habits is a nature of us human beings. Although we have known that it does harm to our health, we tend to keep on doing it other than trying our best to get rid of it. Sometimes, for the harm of bad habits, we may be determined to break away from these habits or even have made a good plan to put it into action, but we often give up at last. Yes, it's easier said than done even if we all know that the key is to put it into action.

um...i hate washing.because nobody help me wash my clothes so i must do that by myself.however,i'm very lazy in doing kind of works like this.and somethimes it will trouble me very much,for example,always our classmates will invite me to join their parties and i really want to go,but when i was thinking about what clothes i should wear,then the proplem just come out,almost each one of them was dirty and i have to decline the invitation with thanks.so i swear to myself that this will not happen again and until now still no working,hehe...

well i am always on to something like giving more importance to those people around me who i think needs my help... i know its not wrong in a sense that im always helpful and thoughtful to others.. but what was really comes back into me is that, i have nothing left for myself.. i give more to others not seeing that me on my own have nothing left for me... what was so sad was that those people that i have been helping all this time were those people who started to make the mess in my life... and they were making my life miserable, you see i just dont like to have conflicts to anybody i believe that if they wont understand i should start it with myself.. the lesson that i have learned here is that no person should always see himself as a hero..because when a hero falls down those people that he have shared his heroic act...never turns there back if he is in need.. again and again im doing the mistake and again and again i recieve the same results...ugh!
