The moment I saw this movie I was blown away. Could almost describe the relationship with the man in my life. The way he loved her was just amazing to me. Their relationship was rocking at best but then whose isn't? Makes me appreciate what G-d has given me in my man.
If something about this movie affected you tell us in what ways it did.

Please allow me to be honest. The movie was overall shallow.
Allie had a betrothed who was devoted to her. And Noah is attracted to Allie's beauty. That certainly isn't mature love. And Allie to his passion. Somehow this excuses their adultry.
It seems based on physical attraction. Noah begs Allie to make love to him. And they constantly look for more time to make love. Since when was lust equal to love?
However, I did find the scenes of the elder Noah and Allie touching. And the movie have stunning performances. Unfortunately, those are the only scenes I liked.

If your love is like that then you are very lucky! That is true love. I saw the movie also and thought it was beautiful. That is the kind of love everyone wishes for and most don't even come close to finding and probably because so many are willing to settle for so much less than that.

When I watched the Notebook I was in my late teens. I enjoyed the movie very much. At first, I thought it was a bit confusing to me but later on it did make sense. It showed how much the man really loved his wife and how much he went through just for his love for her. In today's society, divorce is more common than staying together and that's just one of those awe inspiring movies that shows the true power of love.

An old man reads every day an elderly woman at a nursing home thoroughly bound notebook. His warm voice retained its attention, but words do not come to her mind. The woman is sick with Alzheimer's disease. Page by page, the notebook tell us the story about one illicit love.Ali is a child of rich family camping in a provincial mansion. Noah is a poor worker at a local sawmill. As teenagers begin courtship between the two, which soon pass into a delicate intimacy. The young couple is quickly separated from the wealthy parents of Ali, who insist that Noah is not right for her. Take several years and when Ali and Noah meet again, their passion again erupted, forcing Ali to choose between the call of the heart and the story of her class.
Isn't that a lovely sory about the real and passionate love between two persons? The movie is full of emotional scenes, which can affect even the hardest man. I have watched the movie three times and I still like it and I can watch it three more times, because that's a really good movie.

I really love this movie!
Whenever I'm disillusioned with love and life in general, I would look upon this great novel for inspiration. Noah is my ideal man; the kind of man i would like to be my lifetime partner.
What i love the most about this movie is how they quarrel, yet at the end of the day, they make up and be very loving to each other. It just goes to show that in every relationship, as long as you have love, you can work out differences and shortcomings.
Moreover, 'The Notebook' tells us that true love endures time and distance. Lovers may be physically separated but so long as their hearts remain true to each to other, they can stand the test of time.

The movie just show us some few things about love that most people did not give much value anymore. Like: True love is forever despite all the trials that comes between.
Love can wait and the best was the unselfish way of loving, Loving someone without expecting in return.
