I Had A Polish Moment....Not A Blonde Moment! LOL!

Hello All! So I am polish and I use that as an excuse when I do something stupid. Instead of a Blonde moment I had a polish one!! LOL! Which brings me to my story.
I used to work at a pizza shop. The first day on the job I cut my finger very bad on a really really sharp knife. I got 4 stitches in my middle finger. Then about 2 months later same knife I tried to cut off the same finger. No stitches but it was really bad. Then about 2 months later I cut my thumb very very bad on a can of mushrooms. There big cans and when I cut it open it didnt cut all the way so I stuck my thumb in to get the lid off and slipped. OUCH!!!! Ya that one needed 5 stitches as well. Oh man thats 9 stitches, 3 major cuts in 6 months!! Ya BIG POLISH MOMENT!!! LOL! Needless to say I stay away from anything sharp!
I would love to here any "Moments" any of you have had!! Thanx for sharing!!

i guess i have crafters moments! lol. i get into something, some sort of project and i forget to eat or whatever. i am often daydreaming about what i should be doing or a new idea and sometimes forget what i am doing (not good, especially at work!)

LOL! Im the same way. I like puzzles and get to doing one and forget everything else. Oh well sometimes its nice to be in my own little world!

Hi copperkitten!
Ouch! You really had a rough few months there with all those cuts, yikes! And of all places, a pizza shop, haha.
The only really stupid thing I did along those lines that I can think of off the top of my head, was started cleaning the grates on the bottom of the refrigerator (years ago) and stuck my hand in there and went sideways. Well, I felt the cut immediately on my little finger and yanked my hand out. That made a nice slice on my little finger right in the middle of it, which the skin just flapped over, aughgh. Bled like I was dying, haha. I should have went and got stitches but I didn't and you can see the scar on top of my finger still today...like a half moon.
I'm sure there were many, many others but I just can't think of them right now. I'm always hurting myself somehow, accident prone I guess.
