Hello All! So we had an accident here about a month ago. My boys 5 and 7 were playing in there room like always. My husband and I were watching a movie in our room. All of a sudden we here the most blood curdiling scream I have ever heard! We both go running to the boys room. My 7 year old is screaming I didnt do it he fell! I look and my 5 year old has blood coming from his ear! My first thought was his brain was bleeding. I looked closer and realized he had cut his ear very bad. He slipped trying to climb off the top bunk and fell on a plastic shelf. We ran him to the emergancy room because I thought he would need stitches. Turns out he did. They had to put 6 stitches in his little ear! Poor Baby! He was such a trooper about it though. He layed very still so they could numb it and he stayed still when the doc did the stitches. The doc was an older gentalman who was very sweet. He even got down on my sons level and told him everything he was going to do. I think that helped and made my son calm down some. All in all he was going to be just fine. Its been a month and you can barely see a scar. He didnt do any damage to his ear canal thank god. After we got home I took the top bunk down so we didnt have this happen again. What an adventure!!
Anyone have any stories they would like to share please do!!! Thanx all!

Hello Copperkitten . I am glad to hear your son is doing okay. All of my children did these kinds of things all the time. Heck I spent more time in the emergency room when my kids was growing up then I did at home I think ....LOL Your son will laugh at this when he gets older. It is always nice to have a doctor that treats your child like that. I was grateful for the doctor we had he was an older doctor and he would tell my children that if they aren't careful they would break the ground or sidewalk. He had them laughing by time he got done doing what ever he had to do to them. Kids are stronger then we think. Glad to hear he is okay. Hope you have a great day! Don't worry God protects His children.

Hello Free Man! Thank you. I really liked that the doc was like that. It makes it so much easier on the kids. And in the future if anything happens the kid will want to go back to the hospital and not be scard about it!
