I Love to have chicken when it is mixed up with fried(onion, tomatoes, ginger, garlic, oil)and spiced a little and salt.
Wow....! I feel the aroma... I like to have this along with rice...
I like it more when ma mother prepares it.
I love KFC Chickens too...

I have to agree with you about meatloaf and mashed potatoes, especially my own recipe. I also love spaghetti, BLT club sandwiches, chicken salad, macaroni salad and stuffed peppers. Those are some of my favorite comfort foods. If we are talking about sweets, it would be pecan pie, banana cream pie or warm chocolate chip cookies. Well, I just mentioned about a zillion calories! You can tell that we are sisters and what our mom made well. I loved mom's meat loaf, I have yet to make one as good as hers. I also love tuna noodle casserole a lot. I also a like a nice pot roast with potatoes. A good chicken pot pie can really hit the spot too. I know most people would not consider pizza a comfort food, but there are times when a nice greasy pizza just hits the spot and makes me feel better.

I love a steaming bowl of noodles, usually with a spicy broth, Asian style. You get carbs and some protein, and of course the aroma of good broth is such a comfort. Aside from hot savory noodles, I also like cold soba with shoyu sauce and chilli flakes in summer. I like to pair my noodles with sashimi, some tuna or buttery rich salmon.

Ooh I have a few of those so lets see: First it depends if I'm craving something savory or sweet. Definitely fish & chips, chicken pot pie, pancakes, pizza, matzo ball soup, Vietnamese pho soup, pasta in a cream sauce. If I'm craving something sweet it will be cinnamon buns or chocolate cake with cappuccino or something. I don't really tend to eat comfort food that often because it usually tends to be higher in calories, but when I do, that's what I'll splurge on.
