Leaf piles

My yard is is full of leaves and for the past few days I have been meaning to clean it all up the problem is once I have made a pile I have to jump and roll around in it then the neighbors dog and grandson join in and I have a bigger mess then when I started but it's just so much fun to do childlike things. When we were kids we had to create our own fun and use are imaginations.I have ofthen been told I am immature for doing such silly antics like that or jumping in puddles but heck life can be too serious at times so I see know harm in it and I still like to blow bubbles and watch them float in the sky.Do you get absurd childlike moments and if you do or would like to what would that be?

I get absurd childlike moments all the time. Don't let anybody rain on your parade. As long as you're not hurting anybody else, do what makes you happy and to anybody who tells you not to!

Hello Faeryoftheshire1 Oh yes, O do like those times when it happens blowing bubble and rolling in the leaves and splashing in the puddles after a big rain storm. Anybody up to making mud pies (lol) These are good things to keep us happy and our spirit free and not depressed over something. You are notr immature but to be a very fun person around to mood the happy and funny if gets to serious. There are little gifts all around sometimes we need people like you to remind us we still have a kid in us to whether we 25 or 65 years old. Seeing that sparkle in the eye and glee of laughter nothing like it Sincerley Unique16

I don't step or jump in puddles - with $140 shoes, its not a good idea, but I love to drive thru puddles and make big splashes! In fact, one hot day driving home I saw a couple of girls in swim suits beside the street and there was water flooding out of a nearby fire hydrant. They were trying to get cars to splash them. I was going a different way, but I went around the block to oblige them! They were really happy when I got a HUGE wave over them! Having said that, I normally don't try to splash people with the puddles, but when there's no one around - SPLUSH!!!!

We all need to act childish at times. It breaks the monotany of our days and makes us feel young again. I love to do things out of th blue that are completely silly or something that a child would normally do. I have been known to talk to my kids in funny voices when they least expect it, jumo in the leaves on occassion and even go snow sledding once in a while. I think it is even more fun when I can get another adult to join me.

Hi there! I am a young adult and I miss the childhood days which were carefree and happy times. There were also many interesting child's games. Sometimes I would like to recall and play them by myself. One of the games is to make paper toys like plane, ship, pinwheel and so on. From the games, I seem to be able to get a kind of peace in my soul:)

I get childlike moments all the time, and even more so since having kids. I think my oldest really likes it though because I join her. I don't sit on the park bench whispering how immature that mum is or look at the outfit that mum is wearing like the other moms ... Im out there enjoying every second of fun with my daughter!Id rather enjoy these years I have with her fully then sit back in her "hellish" teen years wishing I had enjoyed her more at the age she's at now. I know I will have no regrets, but can those moms whispering to one another on the park benches say the same?

Whoever tells you that you are immature needs to go take a long look in the mirror. Shame on them. There is a big difference between being young at heart and being irresponsible. Thanks for reminding me about the bubbles. I believe I have a big bottle of glycerin around here somewhere. A little of that added to the bubble soap makes the bubbles big and strong. I hope you fly kites, too! You and I both may still be doing those things when we are 110! Sadly, the people who would criticize us will not be there to rejoice in our happiness, as their behavior will result in their own destruction.

Hi faery, Well there is always a child in every adult and there is nothing wrong in behaving like one when we feel like, it, when I am doing some washing up, I would get the soap sudes in my hands and blow bubbles, so you are not alone, hugs. Tamara
