I am curious about your time at school? Was it fun? Were you a victim of bullies? Were you popular? Did you get good grades? Please tell me everything, I will ask questions based on your response to encourage a great discussion. :)

Elementary school was pretty fun. Although I didn't fit in with the "popular crowd", I sort of started my own clique with the unpopular girls (mostly girls from poor families or foreign countries). However, I was sometimes teased for being a "mommy's girl", because my mom worked as a playground supervisor and I often chose to be with her instead of playing with my friends. Elementary school is where I met my then-best friend, an immigrant from Japan. My fondest childhood memories are the times I spent with her over at her house. However, elementary school wasn't always fun - it was also when I began having obsessive-compulsive disorder, anxiety disorder and insomnia. When I went to junior high (or middle school, whatever you call it), I had a terrible time. My aforementioned OCD, anxiety and insomnia went out of control. I also grew apart from my Japanese friend due to my mental illnesses and her desire to fit in with the "popular crowd". We had a couple of arguments and stopped being friends altogether. I hung out with a group of goth kids at lunch. They were really nice, but I never got as close to them as I'd been to my Japanese friend. After 9th grade, I dropped out of school and that was the end of that.

Terribly sorry for that. I do hope you did better in life after school. Sometimes a happy life and treasured moments are all that counts at the end. God bless you... Tc

School was so so for me…not very good but not horrible either. I was always an introvert at school and together with my spectacles and lanky figure, I was one of the favourite with the bullies. And I got angry very fast and did not know what to say ( I was quite stupid too, in answering back quickly, I still am) and broke down crying, which was all the more insulting. In studies I was absolutely mediocre and never in the teachers good books (forget about being favourite)…I was always ‘one of the students’…I’m glad that school got over and I do not really want to meet any of my school friends

In all honesty my schooldays were the worst time of my life. Since then (im in college now) things have gotten better and better. I attended a private primary school and felt I did not fit in as I was too nice and didn't stand up for myself. The girls were not nice and would all talk about each other behind their backs ect.. They also cared to much about where your parents worked, the car they dropped you off to school in ect.. High school was even worse I found a group of friends but they always put me down whenever good things happened in my life. If I got good grades, brought nice clothes ect.. they would spread untrue rumors about me and leave me out of things. I had a best friend whom I did everything with, but she didn't really care about me and I was just like a sidekick. Every conversation was about her, what she wanted to do and her problems. She would blame me for everything then one day my grandfather had an accident and was in hospital she yelled at me for spending time with him.. thats when I knew I had to move on. Now Im having the time of my life, taking acting classes which I love, filmed a small short film, am travelling and learning French and finding real friends which I have things in common with.

I was a bit of a tearaway at school! I loved to make people laugh and muck about but maybe i did take things to extreme quite often as one of my teachers had a nervous breakdown and wouldnt come back to the school! I was dairly popular and respected by my peers, but none of this helped atall as i didnt focus on my work or grades atall i was more focused on having fun and pleasing others. so as you could imagine i came out of school with absolutely no grades whatsoeverand have struggled ever since!

Hi, As I remember at kindergarten I was bullied mostly by boys and was a victim as teachers put me in between mischievous boys to keep them at distance. Repeated Gr3 after failing English. So joined library and read two books per day till the allowed section was empty. Never failed English after that, infect was among top 3 of class but no friends. In middle school joined Girl Guide and I started making friends. In High School I had a bunch of nice friends and got engaged in activities such as dances and acting. Was good in home making skills and mostly did my friends share while they gave me company in chit chat. In High School I still had my steady friends and NO boy friend. Too shy for boys and long pony tails. Quite active in school activities, finally in last year of High School dated one of the very happening boys (which ended after 2 to 3 months when both our families went against it)and than finished school being the best Guide of the year and school prefect. Still was a shy girl and among my friends I considered myself Ugly Ducking but surely I was part of my regular and steady friends who called then selves the Blue Birds and did out share of mischief as part of our motto. The first crush I had told my friend that she has no qualities of a woman. which I overheard. I guess he was referring that I was quite flat chested. hehehe than it hurt a lot. I was a favorite of some teachers and belonged to a good crowd. was recognized by most still very shy and tongue tied when it came to guys. I was the only one who graduated in our group without a boy friend.
