I got my hair cut today. Its been awhile since I had it done and it feels sooooo much better! Isn't it amazing how good a simple thing like a hair cut makes you feel. Of course I had a lot of comments on it, but by tomorrow it will be flat as a pancake and there will be no way that I will be able to make it look like the hairdresser did! When you get your hair cut does it make you feel like a new person? Are you able to make it look like the hairdresser or are you like me and struggle with making it look decent?

Hello there!
I am glad you are feeling happy! Yes it is pretty amazing that a simple thing like just being able to get a haircut can make you feel happy. I guess the psychology behind that is maybe we've wanted a hair cut for a while and haven't got the time for it, so when we do have the time, and get the hair-cut, we feel happy as that's out of our way, and we actually look more beautiful, but more importantly feel more beautiful!
I haven't got a haircut. Well I have trimmed, but not an actual style. I have nice long hair and I would hate to cut that off. Though I would like to cut it short and see how my hair would look like, but then I'd want my long hair back straight away, which can't happen.
Well we are just gonna have to hope that your hair doesn't turn out like a pancake tomorrow!

My hair was long for years. I cut it real short once and really didn't like it, so I let it grow back. I have gradually been getting it shorter over the last few years. This time it is about chin length and I doubt that I will ever get it any shorter than that. Thats short enough for me. It did make me feel beautiful after getting it cut today and yes I had been putting it off for awhile. Keep your fingers crossed that tomorrow I can make it look decent!

That's exactly why I am way to scared to cut my hair short, cause what If I don't like it afterwards? It is so easy to go and cut your hair with a pair of scissors or by a hair dresser. It only takes one cut for your hair to be short, but takes forever to make it grow back long! So I think I will keep mine long, except the only problem is that I'm getting really bad split ends everywhere!
Yes, we will have to keep our fingers crossed!

I got mine cut last month. I like it shoulder length. I feel good when I get mine cut as well. My husband is balding and gets his cut every four months.
My hair naturally curls at the ends so I do not really have to fuss with my hair. I have never been a big fan of fussing with my hair.

My hair is a never ending battle for me! It just never turns out like I think it should. You are fortunate that you don't have to fuss with yours. At least a woman doesn't have to worry about going bald like a man does. Best wishes to you and yours.

Sometimes we just need to do those little things that please us to boost our day. If a simple thing such as a haircut does it for you, I am happy for you. I'm sure your new haircut looks great on you too.

I have had many comments on it, so I guess it looks good to others as well as myself.

I'm glad you love your hair length. It seems like it has taken me many years to decide on what I like. Maybe as one gets oder your tastes change. Best wishes!

When I get my hair cut it kind of makes me feel uncomfortable and self-conscious. I tend to keep my hair long, and since it is naturally very curly, when I do get it cut it looks like they end up cutting more than I requested. To fix it they do what I normally do to it, so it's very easy for me to get the same desired look.

I really don't understand why a hair cut would make you feel uncomfortable. If its the same desired look, then you shouldn't feel self-conscious about it! You should feel happy that you are taking care of your hair and I'm sure it looks very nice.
