how to get good reposes to your discussions??

i have seen many questions like "what is ur favourite colour?" and "what is ur favourite movie"..in my opinion these discussions wont get any response..what type of discussiond may get many responses?

very Very simple, do ask for the correct answer, ask for opinions......everyone has one and they are here to share that knowledge.

Anything controversal can get other's attention.
The more attention you get, the more likely you will get response.
The questions like "what's ur favourite colour" were asked over and over, many mylotters get bored on it, so it's hard getting response.
