It is announced that the Disney project be approved by the central government. Another big project to lead booming of real estate, construction, material handling, tourism and of course recreation. A good news for kids, and also for local economy?
Your opinion is appreciated.

This is a big news lately. I think this is a big investment. The tickets will be expensive. I wonder how long time it will start to have profit. I personally don't really like this kind of theme park. I like the amusement park which has roller coast much more. I like the exciting games.
I love China

I've personally experienced the construction and opening of a Disney theme park in Hong Kong, it definitely is a good project for most people. Let alone the benefits brought to tourism, hotel, real estate, etc., it also brings about much excitement and enjoyment among the local residents.

Hello my friend zhuhuifen46 Ji,
WEll, the idea is not bad at all. As it will definitely be useful and creative for children of all groups. While in US in 2003, we saw it for almost 3 days and enjoyed a lot. Understood old culture /nature/Technogies as well. It was a rich experience for all of us.Before that we never had experience of flying in mono rail. Also as it was 25th Dec. we witnessed a very big procession and Parade passing through streets for more than 3 hours. Dance show was a big attaraction. It was all worth while watching.
May God bless You and have great time.

I was not surprised to hear this news. The contact and negotiation between Disney company and Shanghai government started about ten years ago. At that time Shanghai and Hong Kong competed very severely. In order to stimulate the economy of Hong Kong, the central government orders Shanghai to suspend the negotiation, so the first Disneyland in Greater China was opened in Hong Kong. At present Shanghai also faces the issue of economic transition. Disneyland project is regarded as a positive power to promote the development of service industry.
