From my point of view, one's imagination comes from one's knowledge. To be able to make new connections of ideas, one must possesses the basic knowledge about it.
How about you, would you have a different opinion?

I think that they're both just as important as the other. I don't think that one is better than the other. Imagination and knowledge is just one of those things that cannot really be better than the other, one of those things that cannot really compete with each other in my opinion. I don't know if it's just me, but it's how I feel about imagination and knowledge.

I think both are important. Since most responded of knowledge being first that imagination, I thought of the other way around. Like knowledge comes after imagination. I mean, from our imagination, we form ideas which becomes knowledge later.

Hi,friend,Imagination come from standard base i.e with sound knowledge on that particular subject is o.k.But pure imagination without basic knowledge is mere waste and useless,we can call them as lazy fellows.Few people go into imagination that some thing will happen,so that i will become rich or ...
Few people imagine that i can achieve this thing based on so an so basics..they achieve finally.

I think they are both important. Just like eat and work, If you don't work hard then you can't get enough to eat , and If you don't have enough to eat then you can't work hard. The man with more imagination is an artist, the man with more knowledge is a scholar, the man with both power is Albert Einstein.
