Is it possible to achieve a peace of mind? How? For me, I think if there will be no problems in my mind left unsolved then I could have it.
Others may say if you're already dead and your mind isn't working anymore, then thats the time you have achieve a peace of mind.lol
What do you think, are you having a peace of mind right now? How do you think you can achieve it?

Hello. With so many concerns and worries , it is certainly very hard to have peace of mind. With many problems, work-related and personal, throughout the days, peace of mind becomes very hard to achieve. One way that helps attaining peace of mind is practising "Yoga Meditation". Many people practise meditation, and I have recently started too. Meditation certainly brings peace of mind.

Yoga is a good solution.... Yoga actually comprises of things like good exercise, proper food, meditation, relaxation etc... If you practice it daily you can see that your body flexibility, health, stamina, strength of body muscles, internal organs and mental balance increases.. If started with the help of a trainer or by using books on Yoga you can master it.

Work to the best of your ability without expecting to be get results always.Give without expecting in return.Do work that pleases or satisfies you.Don't take life's problems too seriously for we are bound to spoil our health.Always do things which your conscious permits.

Hi,friend, don't expect anything from anyone-it's my slogan displayed on my profile. For experiencing true peace of mind, one has to follow this.Besides this, for common people, one has to take so many steps.Don't set too much targets in life in terms of money,status..leads to unhappiness..so many illeagal activities leads to unhappiness..

all you need is brinks home security to get a peace of mind. it says so in their commercials. let me get serious for a minute. i achieve peace of mind but only by doing certain things. the best way to do this is at night. things need to be completely quiet. the best time for me to achieve this peace of mind is between 1:00am and 3:30am.

The solution to this problem is as old as mankind. The answer is what The Blessed One found.Rein in your Desires.. It may not be possible to make desires ZERO for everyone, if only you could do that you would already been enlighetend in the eastern sense.
Or as Mahatma Gandhi put it: There is enough in this world to feed the need of every human being, but the greed of just one is sufficient to make it unlivable and full of strife for all.

I think my life is in the middle. Sometimes, I feel peaceful in my heart when I realize that my problem is compared with other's problem somehow not really big.. then I thanks to God because of it. On the other hand, being busy everyday to solve problem is part of ways to get peaceful mind. Because peaceful is part of life but it is not a constant condition of life. In life we are conditioned to have a lot of problems that somehow decrease our quality of life but never eliminate our soul as a briliant creature to create peaceful in our mind.

Having peace of mind can mean so many things to different people. To me peace of mind is reached by opening your heart. Nothing can be more spiritual and calming to the soul. The gift of giving and receiving of yourself is a joy that cannot compare with anything else. Here is where peace of mind is truly found.

Hi fulltank,Yes, we can achieve peace of mind,if we offer our life to our dear God.Problems and worries are part of our life here in this world,so we must find a way to find peace. We can't do it by ourselves,Only our dear God can give us peace in our hearts.Just pray always to achieve peace, and it is very effective.Good luck!

Peace of mind had come in moments of lucidity where you can actually feel that everything is in place. I know for sure that almost everyone has experienced such a moment. Whether it has been for just a moment or for a couple of days, these moments need to be charished.

When I have things on my mind, I ask myself, "Is there anything I can do about this right now?" If not- I pull out my spiral notebook, write it down. Then if I have any ideas on what to do about it later I go ahead and write those down under the problem, and assign myself a day/time to come back to that. Once it's all on paper, it's pretty easy to get it out of your mind. I don't stress out about anything I can't do something about at that very moment.

I believe peace of mind is attainable but not sustainable. Since the mind is ever learnig, and our environent ever changing we can't predict the future state of our existance, therefore if peace of mind is acheived, it will not last. then we look back at our old state with new knowlege and say we never acheived true peace of mind. this is falacy. we must understand our self to be complex being, as mind, body and soul. Just as our body can tell us "that feels good" and our soul can give us good emotionall fellings, our minds can be at peace( remeber the mind interprets feelings and emotions). your mind is your own and to be at peace is to simply not think of problems to be solved but life to be lived and fun to be had.(it possible for anyone not oppressed by another) Prayer helps because it connects our mind to our soul, the two of the three element of our being that are the most puzzling.

I think I agree with you that, if you have problems then you work on getting them resolved before you can experience peace of mind, this is certainly the way with me. I don't like having problems on my mind, I tend to deal with them immediately and then I can relax afterwards! There are other things that I enjoy doing that give me peace of mind and that is, I love to read! When I am deeply engrossed in a good book I can then truly escape reality for a short while, this gives me profound peace of mind!. There are other things like praying! I don't go to church or anything like that but I do pray and give thanks to someone or something out there in the big wide Universe! This consoles me and gives me comfort when I need it. Andrew

I achieve having a peaceful mind by letting those destruction away from my eyes like those annoying scenes and if ever i could not escape it i have a foxholes in my head where i could hide from it. Most of the times i find deep relaxation like keeping self to control the matters that are bothering never get yourself affected by maintaining a calm images though need to breath exhale and inhale processes, through meditation, music, massage and finally communicating with god through praying gives inner peace. Then, the body need to rest to and that goes well with sleeping a great healer for a long times for resting both the mind and body at the same time.

As of now I'm not at peace I'm thinking of many thing. But I guess we could achieve peace of mind when we talk to God. When I go to church I always light candle and say my thanks to god and say my queries to him I find at peace on that time, even for just a few minutes.
