Hi friends, Hope most of us have crossed the moment of our baby calling us "MOTHER" for the first time. How do you feel when your baby call you mother for the very first time. I feel very happy and i donno how to express that feeling. I cried also when i'm alone. I don't know why. But it more than the word happiness. It's a kind of great feeling. What about you friends ? How do you feel at the moment ? Share your feelings with our fellow myLotters.

I've had this joy THREE times now. :) Every time it is still as amazing. "Mama" has been all 3 of their first words. There just are not words to describe the joy that comes when you hear that. :D I've probably heard it thousands of times now even out of my little one year old, and I STILL love hearing him run for me "Mom mom" and the way he hugs..........ohhhh too sweet.

my heart smiles and feel fulfilled when i heard my daughter called me "mommy". i thought she'll never learned in calling me that way because at the age of 1.2 she knows all the name of people inside our house except me. then i really tried to teach her to call me that way. and then when she reach her age of 1.5 she now can say mommy. actually, she say my name most often. even she just want to be notice.

Yes it is a wonderful feeling to hear those words for the first time, and every other time for that matter. My daughter is now 20 months old and she says lots of words everyday. When she was 5 months old, she said her first word, which was ma ma. I remember the first time she said it. She was crawling on the bed with her daddy. Then when I left out of the room, she started fussing, and said very clearly, "ma ma." Not only did she say mama, she knew who ma ma was, which was very overwhelming for me. That's when it really hit me big time. I couldn't believe I was a mom, and my baby just confirmed it. Unconditional love is truly a miracle.

I was very pleased when my son first called me, mother. I am very happy at that time. I tell everyone I meet that my son calls me mom. since then I always want to hear my child call me mom. indeed a very beautiful experience and I could not just forget. I'm sure every mother would feel the same. a very pleasant thing for a mother.

I was estatic when my son said "Mum Mum". I called everyone I knew to tell them. It's a day I'll cherish forever. I can't wait until he can say some other things as well. And it's ok to cry! It's an exciting moment!

The first time that my daughter called me mommy was one of the happiest moments of my life. She was 13 months old and very advanced for her age. She came around the corner and saw that I'd come home from work early and just came running to me and grabbed me around my legs and said Mommy. I about cried at that moment. I'd known from the moment that she was born that it was the role that I now held, but to hear her say it herself was such an affirmation to me.

Music to my ears. I just have to look at my child and wanted to hear it again and again. Then it breaks my heart when my child is not feeling well and cries for mother. I just wish that I was the one who was sick and not him. One of the best thing in the world is to be a mother and to be respected and loved. Hold your child and hug and kiss, it would make a gloomy day become perfect.
